If we pick either of these guys I am convinced we are switching to a 4-3 after Evero leaves

I am not challenging you on this, just seeking insight so my question is not meant to be disrespectful. That said, why would u plan to switch a defensive scheme next year (by next year I assume u mean 26/27 season).  Especially when u are coming off a season with a historically bad defense.

Might as well just switch now and deal with the fallout.  It’s not like any of your current guys are that great with a 3-4.  if the organizations strategy aligns closer to a 4-3 then switch now.

Could be right, I just thought they would let Evero coach his system while he was here

Id be hugely disappointed in both of these picks. Sick of the "I'm smarter than the market" types that land one out of 10 longshots and crow about how they "got it right" one time. Quit fuging forecasting, you are terrible at it a$$holes.

Yeah, Morgan needs to KISS.

Williams could pan out in the long run, but Shemar, hell naw.

I've watched him more and am starting to gaslight myself into thinking Shemar might also end up being a good player.

The trauma this team has caused me over the Tepper years.

If I were to make a guess as to who the Panthers will draft at 8 it would be Emannwori, the safety out of SC. So far they have spent more time on him than anyone.

He’s a Tepper pick. Tep loves drafting local guys.

Evero shouldn't even still be here. He ran a historically bad D last year. This year they spent big in free agency and will do the same in the draft for a DC that has good odds of not being around next year. If that does happen then the next DC will have to run the same scheme or just blow it up and do it their way which makes all these people questionable longterm anyways. I hate how this team is run.

    • Remember when we had Cam Newton, Derek Anderson, and Joe Webb? Good times
    • Ridley Grieg was handed a 2-game suspension for his sucker punch on Sean Walker during the Ottawa series. First 2 regular season games for the 2026-2027 schedule.
    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
