Darin Gant's Tweet on Jarrett

I hope DJ leaves and is successful somewhere else with real coaches and QB's. He catches when it's thrown his way, he was open a lot last game but never got the ball till the end, then had like 40 yards. So we bench him? I don't get it, I think Fox/Davidson have something personal against him and he never had a chance.

And Gantt IS a tool.

Doesn't even matter because DJ's made millions not doing anything, he isn't the loser in the situation.

This Jarrett not playing thing is just another thing that has just gotten me fed up with Fox and his coaching regim. I am sitting there backing in the sun and 6th round draft pick is starting at WR. Now I dont think it makes a difference that much who the WR's are cause Moore is also part of the problem. There are WR's open he either isnt seeing them, overthrowing them, getting sacked or throwing a pick. I hate hearing if any "quality" QB had this wr core they wouldnt be doing much better. I think that is B.S. So I still think Fox and Hurney have f'ed this team up cause 1) they never have succeeded in finding a legit #2 and 2) never succeeded in finding a legit future QB for this team so we are left with Matt Moore. I am glad at least we have hopes in Clausen. I never thought Moore was the answer. Winning games at the end of season when your team has nothing on the line is alot different then winning games when it counts for everybody.

But back to Jarrett if he is that bad then WHY THE F.... is he still on the roster!!!!! He is that much worse than a 6th rounder - then so he should not have made it through final cuts. At least they were playing Rosario at WR to try something new.

Oh well.... I guess I will lower my expectations for this team and looking forward to a new coach next season.

Gantt shows a lot of personal bias and not reporting.

Even if you aren't a Jarrett fan.....I don't see the point of Gantt making that type comment. Bottom line is for Jarrett to get this far and to stay on an NFL roster this long does show something. It may show he is a bottom tier NFL player but the kid has to have some drive and effort to remain with a team this long.

his "psst" comment about Moore was also pretty lame. Moore always says the right thing and has the right mindset. Moore said, he was going to prepare like was the starter. Tony Pike needs to prepare like is going to be the starter....b/c anyone is an injury or two away.

trade him for a DT or Guard. Or at least for a pick somewhere between the 5th and 7th and sign a decent receiver. Get rid of this garbage.

I'm beginning to think the only reason he's till on roster is the hope they can get something for him if another team fins itself in need of a receiver.

Are you f'ing kidding me Monsta? He has no work ethic, runs wrong routes, gets less YAC than Hollis Thomas or John Kasay would if you had put them out at receiver....he's garbage and it's an insult that he's on the roster.

Wow such a change since you were in his fan club just a few weeks ago.

    • The last child @ home has told me he wants to go to a game, so we're seeing vs Rams on the 30th
    • Did we really shut them down though? They had 369 yards of offense.   That is 9 more yards than they average per game and 53 more than we give up per game this year.   If a team gave up 369 yards per game on defense, they'd be the 7th worst defense in the league this year. Yes, I will give our defense credit for having the 4th down stand near our goal line as well as creating the fumble that stopped their first drive, as they did rise to the occasion then, but even the INT was just a ridiculous play/throw and handed it to us and they also missed a FG. We didn't force them into a single punt all game.  We had 1 sack on a QB who had 37 pass attempts. They had drives of 56, 49, 50, 43, 58, and 71 yards (while we only had 2 over 40 yards ourselves). We bent, a lot, but never really broke, partially due to the Packers own mistakes, that's a far cry from "shutting them down" in my opinion.  Again, this is why I'm critical of us after a day like today, I'm able to look beyond a final score and evaluate how we played on the whole, and we keep squeaking out these wins despite not playing well at all.  And yes, that is what great teams do, but they also play well in the majority of their games, where as all we seem to do is squeak out ugly wins without ever playing all that well. I'm not saying I'm unhappy that we won, I've never once said anything like that, but when week after week I see serious concerns with how we played, then I'm going to call out what I see.
