This guy is it. I'd love him in the second but we may have to move up. Watch him and  his speed, break, burst breaks, n come back are ridiculous. That's what we need! Dude can fire from outside or slot. If you don't see it. Keep smoking.

not sure if carolina picks a WR in this draft, they have some young WR already and will let them develop. Need another vet imo.  I think carolina is going to pass more to the RB's this coming season, look for them to move heaven and earth for Cam Skatteboo.  I really hope they go TE Warren in the 1st. That would add another dynamic to this offense.

He may not know what he's doing and the tennessee system is junk for nfl scouting but I really want to take a day 3 flyer on Dont'e Thornton.  No one is talking about him and at the very worse he can run 3 routes and take the top off the defense as a wr 4.  Basically play poor mans rookie Metcalf role

Well Im sold!!

You should be.  If he was a couple inches taller and a 10-15 pounds heavier, he'd be a first rounder.Dude broke 1000 yards with another 1000 yard guy opposite of him.  His stats would be stupid if the was the only mouth to feed on that Iowa State team.

Honestly Im just posted that in support of smithslawnguy during his continued drug/booze fueled bender....

Besides Tmac and burden, I've done near nothing on WR. * I did dive some on golden some after the combine, but less than two hours. Life-style changed a few years ago, Im just quit doing deep dives into the whole draft.

My current system is the following- top 50 consensus and mock drafts sims. The key is the mock drafts now, I research some of the players around each Panther pick. Its cheating, but no longer am I disappointed come draft days.

    • I don't necessarily think he will be moved, I would currently be leaning against that notion. I think a lot will depend on the coaching situation. Carroll certainly can't be thinking about wanting to go through a serious strip down and overhaul, so the longer he plans to remain, the less likely I think Crosby gets moved.
    • I think everyone says Mike Evans because of size, but really they have different strengths and play styles.  Tmac is better on intermediate routes and not nearly as good at contested catches.
    • At this point, it is criminal to go into the 2026 training camp/OTA's with XL penciled in as a #2 WR. The team must upgrade, either through free agency or the draft. If he cannot give 100% effort on significantly less snaps as a #4-6 WR(players like Tremayne have done that consistently) then I don't think you have a player worth rostering beyond the trade deadline. Offensively, we eventually have to upgrade to an NFL starting caliber C. It's been almost the length of time from Gross to Ikey since Kalil retired and we have below average to terrible C play. Love Mays as a BC-esque utility backup but he will never be an above average long term starting C.  The TE room is one of the worst in the NFL but it's a low usage position in this offense, so the investments are likely to be small, if any. I would never expect to see an elite TE in a Dave Canales offense. 100% agree on OL depth. We actually aren't bad there but BC will be gone, Mays is a UFA, Corbett is a UFA and Zavala has been both injured and bad. We have to bolster that depth again or resign guys like Mays and Corbett to keep that depth somewhat stable.
