Not by much. Spotrac has his deal at $985K—the rookie minimum is $885K. Now that draft pick can be used at a more expensive position.

I think that option has run it's course.   I think that spot is best used for longshot with bigger potential.   We pretty much know him pretty well at this point.

Seems like we signed Dowdle to a 1 year rental to cover for JB (who I'm assuming we still believe in because Panthers).  I doubt we draft an RB this year unfortunately.

That would be epically stupid considering the options later in this draft. Blackshart shouldn't make most team's final rosters.

1 kick return fumble. 1 punt return fumble. That’s strong. All returners cough the ball up.  I don’t think either were turnovers but I’m not sure. He plays smart. No stupid backpedal 15 yards bs.  He is an adequate RB3. Role player. Hoover-lite. He does his damn job. 

Teams need dudes like this. Glue guy.  I’m glad he’s back.  I’m sure he’ll have competition in TC.

Insurance. His contact appears to he 100% base. He can be cut and have zero cap hit.
