The Jets ran for 106 yards against a defense that came in allowing 60 yards rushing per game.

Michael Turner 42 yds against Steeler's

Chris Johnson 34 yds against Steeler's

Raven's 70 total rushing

Jarvis Ellis got 87 yds .but that was with BRADY using the pass to set up the run

If you can't pass against the Steeler's they will key on and destroy the run

Troy is also a big part of that run defense and they may hold him out now that they have secured a playoff spot .

that is why I said if Troy is out....the defense changes entirely w/ him out. I doubt Troy plays until the postseason.

Carolina has been running just as good if not better than NY as of late. I think Stewart can make some plays....he is heathly finally. A healthy Stewart has proven to be able to run against the tough Ds. Look at what he did against Minny last year

They stop the run very effectively. We didn't run all that well against the Cards and the Steelers are just a smidge better, with or without Polamalu.

I don't want to sound pessimistic and "woe-is-me" but it seems like the panthers fate will be we inexplicably win out and lose on the #1 pick with Luck declaring. That would suck.
