Nick fairley #1

Fairley is intriguing because we need DT help, however most DT's take 2 years to get really good in the NFL. Its hard to say past Luck at #1 who we WOULD take because we do not know who our coaching staff is going to be next year. We could go anywhere, DT, QB, WR, who knows until the new staff arrives and starts going to work. If its Harbaugh, expect 99% it will be luck. As I've said, as I've read, if one goes so will the other.. and why not both to Carolina. Lets go Pittsburg, lets go Saints. Lets go Bengals, lets go Bills, lions, and Broncos. The only thing about the Broncos is, I do not think they take luck #1 overall, and if we want him and are at #2, no reason why we could not make a trade there if we really wanted to, or needed to.

If Luck is available and we use the # 1 overall pick on Fairley I will lose my mind...

With some people that post on this board I wonder how far they would have to go to lose theirs. I think if they would just turn around at the right time it might run away:yesnod:. I include myself in that group.

I think DT will be much easier to find than QB or WR or even CB. I would trade down if not taking Luck. If that is not an option, I would grab the best #1 WR in the draft, AJ Green. He is a better football player at his position than Fairley is at his. Next I would take Peterson, a strong CB.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
