Oregon was completely exposed as a fraud in the playoff.  Do better

DT Derrick Harmon has a top-20 grade.

DE Jordan Busch has a top-50 grade.

LB Jeffrey Baasa has a top-100 grade.

DT Jamaree Caldwell has a top-125 grade.

CB Jabbar Muhammad is projected to be a UDFA target.

Saying they were exposed as a fraud in the playoffs is like saying that Cam got exposed in SB50. It just doesn't make any sense... but that also does not seem to be the intention of the thread so I guess I can understand the buffoonery.

Facts are that Jeanty didn't just run up on a decent defense at the end of the season. He put up nearly 200yds on a good one at the beginning of the season.

What was that good defense? Because Oregon was 64th in the country in YPC allowed and their 38th in rushing yards allowed likely would've been lower had teams not been playing from behind for most of the year. The reality is that they were a middle of the pack run D. C'mon man, those PAC-12 teams have jever won on defense. You know this. You don't have to create a false narrative to prop up your favorite very good draft prospect.

A huge chunk of the early guys are overrated and just filling the void of top talent in this draft.

Doesn't make them bad players but comparing them to other drafts is going to look like bad value.

Also don't draft a RB in the 1st still....especially when this draft is loaded with RB talent later.

We'll know who RB1 is in a few years.

I just find it funny how State fans come running to talk poo about how UNC fans always do something any time anything UNC is mentioned. Oddly, I don't recall any UNC fans shitting on Icky as a prospect because of where he went to school or mentioning his college team when he's looking like a turnstile in pass pro. The inferiority complex is just annoying.

Are any Carolina fans talking crap about any State prospects this year? I wouldn't mind at all to draft Belton in the mid-rounds. I don't give a poo where a guy went to school. If he went to UNC, great. But that's just icing on the cake.

Omarion Hampton is a very good running back prospect, but Ashton Jeanty completely breaks the scale compared to the rest of the class. It is hard, as someone with no dog in this fight, to believe that all the Carolina fans are simply being perfectly objective and reasonable when they try to equate Hampton to the dude who just had an all-time great season.

I haven't researched him at all, but I will say that 5'9" and 215 sounds like a load. I don't get why you'd say, "He will get hurt consistently at that size." In fact the dude everyone wants us to get is 5'10" and 219, with a decidedly more physical running style I might add, but I'd say that the guys may be shorter, but they aren't slight.

Most starting backs are now under that weight if we are being real...

That's the exact same size as Deanglo Williams who himself was a poor man's Ladainian Tomlinson who was also that exact size.

🤣🤣🤣 getting beat by the Champs, who had a ridiculously stacked team isn't exactly chumps also jeaty ran for more ##s in one game than than either of the OSU backs did in two.

Also remind me how the ACC teams did in the playoffs again?

Well you have to remember you are talking to someone who was once the most outspoken defender of Teddy Bridgewater. He's gonna do what he's gonna do to carry water for his guy. He's certainly committed to his cause.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
