He specifically explained what his preferred nickname is last night. He said he will accept T-Mac but not Tet and his friends call him NALO and it's his brand. His Grandmother approves Tetairoa and Nalo so I'm using Nalo.

Lmaoo...funny. this sounds like the type of stuff everybody said we be a concern about shedeur.

He's not on the level of Sanders. Sanders is in his own Universe.

No it's just what his friends call him. He will accept T-Mac but not Tet. His grandmother hates Tet but likes Nalo. So that is his brand, NALO.

You rarely get to pick your own nickname though.  Others largely dictate that.  Otherwise, I'd just  prefer to be called Brad Pitt #2.

My history as a Panthers fan has told me that I don't know poo about player evaluation so I'll just hope for the best again.

I will say this, I have read and heard a ton about TMac's inability to get separation. Ted Ginn got a lot of separation, but it didn't really help because his hands were average. If TMac can capitalize when the ball comes his way, he might turn out ok. Not to mention that separation doesn't matter as much in the red zone where everyone is bunched up. I'd be happy to have a cheat code type WR in the end zone.

People that thought we were done at WR were lying to themselves.  We have needed a #1 WR since Moore left and this was a high need pick.

the real #1 spot in a Bryce Young O isn't going to be a big body on the outside though.  Which is why a discarded WR that the league pretty much said shouldn't be a starter anymore had a mini-rebirth.   We all knew where Bryce natually would go w/ the ball when we drafted him and are building a roster.....suited for Jake Delhomme.

It's not safe to assume the when a coach says he's happy with a particular position that that statement will exclude them from adding to it.

He didn't give it to himself. His friends gave it to him.

my history tells me that half the fun of being a fan is pretending that if I was GM we would be 17-0 if they just listened to whatever I make up off of watching random college kids play a random game or so.

I mean honestly looking back at the last 5 years or so I feel confident anyone on this message board would have had at least the same level of success lol

    • Canales talks exactly like narcissists talk because they can’t understand how their actions impact other people negatively. They’re describing what they should be feeling or thinking instead of saying it.  if you’ve ever dated one you know exactly what I mean and it’s off putting if you’ve gone through it.  im sure his apology to Izzy sounded like “I never thought you’d be so upset by me masturbating with Brad Idzik during a film session. Again. I thought we had moved past that. In the future, you need to make your displeasure more clear.”
    • I like Chuba as a person. However when we signed him to that extension I said it was a risk because he had his best statistical season while we have invested over the last 2 seasons what is now a league leading amount of money in the offensive line and it's only going to increase with us needing to sign our left tackle to an upcoming extension. We cannot afford all this. Our defense is already amongst one of the lowest invested groups in the league and we expect them to shoulder the burden. As far as Chuba over Rico let's just call it what it is. Our franchise making decisions based on what we've invested in a player instead of doing what's best for the team. We've already been doing this with Bryce Young and we again have one of the league's worst QB rooms. It cannot continue. How many blowout losses can we witness before things like this finally click? Either we begin operating like a serious franchise or we will look up and reach the milestone of being a cellar dweller for 10 consecutive years.
    • They need to be dug up and made into a fan handbook. I'm almost positive there is a gameday monolog for every team in the league. Man I miss old SCP. He was a poet and didn't know it.
