2025 NFL Draft - Round 1 Discussion

Recommended Posts

Tampa Bay selected a WR for some reason, after getting Evans and Godwin back. That means Egbuka will likely play in the slot for Tampa. They had Jaylen McMillan from Washington go off for them last year too.

Weird that they didn't go defense, but they will have an absolutely stacked offense next year.

XL was able to run by some guys last season and then promptly dropped the ball or didn't track it correctly.

I will say that he definitely doesn't play like a sub-4.4 guy.

But he is in no way shape or form "slow."

XL is always open. Looking forward to him catching the ball better this year.

combine be damned there is no way you can argue XL is a fast player watching his tape, same with Tet.  They are not fast players.  Mike kaye even made a thing about it last training camp

X is fast...once he gets going...and is running in a straight line.

Look, man, there is room for improvement. Stop judging him on a partially busted first season.

He for sure was not always open. He was a much better route runner than expected but he got flat out shut down plenty of times during the season.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
