lol detroit gave up waaay more to move up 3 spots with denver than what we gave up to move up 6 spots with them.

people mad at our trade are silly, to put it nicely

The trade was complicated and I would love to know how they worked that out because we didn't lose anything, It's just we can get our guys here and you can get your guys there type of thing, Much like that Buffalo trade last season. We seem pretty good at moving up a little for basically nothing. I know nothing about the player but PFF was really praising this pick for us where we got him and for the trade. Hopefully they're right. He's young too so not immediate impact likely but if he pans out he could be productive for us for a long time.

I would've thought so too, but we gave up 10 extra points of value in our trade and Detroit gave up 11 points of value. So they ended up being pretty even. Dropping from 74 to 85 is a bigger drop in value based on the draft value chart than dropping from 130 to 230 (55 point difference vs 42 points).

Come on. Take Shadeur. I wanna watch a train wreck

I forgot about him. He's still there isn't he? I wonder if he goes day 3 now? The teams that passed on him earlier, are any of them interested in later or is it just a straight out they dont want him?

Shedeur will be the 6th QB taken in the 6th round and win 8 super bowls

I can believe it. But still, usually someone just throws crap at the wall but I'm now actually curious to know if it's not a question of where but that it's just no, we don't want him anywhere.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
