Think of the games in Vegas, Miami, NY etc. the clientele are more worried about the trip than the actual game. Theres a market for this, we just aren’t in it.

Roaring Riot has  offered that service for years.

This is more like  the anti riot philosophy.

That's actually a great deal if you've got the money to spare.  A private jet is not cheap and with all the other perks you are probably only paying half of what you would have to pay if you set this up yourself.  That's even if you could.

There's no way you're paying half the cost of doing it on your own, as it wouldn't be a profitable business.

They're not doing this out of the goodness of their heart to give fans a cool thing on the cheap, they're making money on it, so it can't cost more to do on your own outside of getting access to the players.

I’m going to start a competitor if anyone wants to partner with me.

-UberX to the airport

- I welcome you to to the airport and present you with the finest  of Panther polos and some custom cargo shorts

- we going Spirit Air.  Whatever you heard, disregard.

- we taking another UberX to dinner near the stadium.  A unique experience at a local food truck

- guess who is going to meet you for dinner? Panthers legend Haruki Nakamura

- Finish up the day at a hotel that has some stars

Thinking I’ll just work off tips or possibly trade

lol no the other way around

He’s saying if someone were to buy this package, they’re paying half of what it would cost them to do it on their own.

So I’m saying that can’t be the case, as there’s no way the person providing it can make money if it costs them twice the amount to put this on for them, they’re in it to make money, not give a fan experience on the cheap.

This isn’t a huge operation that has major discounts due to bulk private flights and 5 star hotels/restaraunts around the country to where they can do this at a cheaper price than it would cost to do on your own.

You’re paying more for the access to players and not having to work out the logistics on your own, not less, that’s crazy talk.

Demographics aside, why would you pay $10k to go to an away game if you're not even going to home games? That's doesn't make any sense.

I would absolutely not pay $10k. That said, there are more than a couple of stadiums that present a far superior game day experience than a Panthers home game.

Try to book a private jet just for yourself with shuttle service to and from the airport and during your stay with event tickets. That's round trip.  Then get back to me if it's less than 10k.

Haha.  I didn't realize Charlotte had cornered the market on limos and G6's.  My apologies.

They aren't talking one person from anywhere In the US on a private jet to an away game. Capped at 18 people aka 18 people on the jet

Yes, for a single person, but this isn't just selling tickets on the trip they put on, you buy the full trip and pay for however many people you're bringing with you up to 18 (I'm sure there's a minimum for 10-12 people too).

So even if you get a group of 15 guys together to do it, you could do the trip for less than $150k but without the access to players.

Of course a group rate is cheaper. That's the point. If you wanted to do this for yourself it's much more expensive and you would have to include the meals and ticket to the game. So this is cheaper for you the individual.

But the services is not making a lot of money off of this. There's a lot of people that will have to get paid and more will have to volunteer initially.  I'm not sure if they will make any money in the long run but they might.

I would do it if I had the money because it sounds like it would be a blast. But unfortunately I do not have the excess funds to live like that.

You guys could always buy me a ticket and I will report back on my experience. I think you all should do that.

In terms of trying to book a private jet I wouldn't be surprised. One off is a lot different than regular bookings and if you can fill it up (which I'm sure they're banking on) it's a lot less per head

At the end of the day, I wish 'em luck. If they can find a market, good for them. I just hope they know what they're signing up for. Transitioning from being an everyman's fan club having some home bars scattered around the country and throwing some bashes is a helluva lot different game than trying to jump into the elite luxury experience. I honestly don't think you can pull off both, you gotta do one or the other. Neither group wants anything to do with the other. The former sounds fun. The latter... I think I'd rather slam my dick in a car door than hear some nepobaby whining about some poo that makes me want to throw him out the door of the private jet at 35k feet.

    • These are the three deep throw attempts that Will Levis made in week 12. His first one is a beauty; Levis and Westbrook-Ikhine gets the safety to bite on a deep dig only to go over the top for the score. His second throw is another beauty: a crosser to Calvin Ridley reminiscent of Bryce to XL (though Ridley has noticeably more separation on his route). His third and final deep shot was an incompletion from his own endzone on 3rd & 14 with pressure coming down on him (to me, this seems like a solid throw).   Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-02.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-01.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro.mp4 Film Room Playlist NFL Pro-01.mp4 Levis took half of the deep shots that Young did. The differences are: Ridley had much better separation than XL, which is why his deep crosser turned into a 63yd play since he was able to scamper for another 15+ after the catch. Westbrook-Ikhine holds on to his TD pass. Bryce had to throw one away to preserve time for a field goal. Bryce had two more throws that were incomplete due to the WR Are we really holding the three WR errors and clock management decision against Bryce in order to say that Will was better throwing deep in week 12? That's not passing the eye test nor is it confirmed by the data.
    • If you go on the PUP list before the season starts, you are gone for the year. If you start the year on the PUP list then you can get off of it. Kind of semantics, but we are putting him on the PUP list now which is before week 1, that’s why people who come off of it aren’t really on the PUP list until week 1, hence you usually hear right before the season that they are “starting the year” on the PUP list. I think PUP list and IR may basically be the serve the same purpose now because you also sometimes hear that if a player is added to the IR before week 1 that they aren’t eligible to come off the IR list for the entire year. Now, everyone added to IR (post week 1) can come off after 4 (or more) games so the PUP list is meaningless since it’s 6 games and starts at week 1. Anyone added to PUP or IR in the preseason is gone for the year.
