For those of you concerned about whether Cam would be able to have a career after football -- he's going to be all right

 

Monday night during the BET Awards, sports hosts Ashley Nicole Moss and Cam Newton announced they will be hosting a sports spinoff called 106 & Sports.

Moss and Newton made the announcement together live on air, explaining that 106 & Sports will go beyond the game to cover the culture and community around the competition. The show will debut this fall.

“106 & Sports is about more than scores and statistics,” Newton said. “It’s about the culture around the game. The players, the personality, and of course, the passion. But most importantly, it’s about the fans.”

Poo me, but Cam really tarnished his image in my eyes with the MVP over SB thing. I don’t want to rehash it as everyone already said their piece, but it killed what little interest I may of had in Cam off of the football field. 

That said, I still wish him success.

You have your opinion I have mine. You don’t have to call me a liar in the process.

I wrote what I wrote to explain why I feel the way I feel. Nothing more than that.

      I think you have to give Draft picks at least two years to know what you've got: Legette is looking like a bust Brooks is unfortunate - with modern medicine he should have been fine Wallace is struggling Sanders can play Smith-Wade is mediocre Crumedy... is on the roster? Barrett got us Mike Jackson Not exceptional, but if someone else besides Sanders can contribute it's not a cripplingly bad haul.

      Saints might not be as beatable as some expected. Finishing 4th in that race would be ugly. Less wins than last year would be ugly. Hard to sell building anything when they can't get to 5 wins again

      I don't know what the right protection call is to stop those stunts or even if there is one. Are twists and stunt successful because a protection wasn't called correctly or because the oline and RB did not execute correctly.  I know some teams leave those calls to the center. I don't know enough about that aspect of the game to define fault.  If that is a problem Bryce has always had dating back to college it would seem an easy fix to take that off his plate.
