It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result.

If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.

Thanks for the clarification! People have slowly crept in with the narrative that we are needlessly bashing women when referring to any disdain regarding Nicole.

She is basically an even better example of his general incompetence. Why the fug does the owners fuging spouse have any sort of input on personnel decisions? The way the organization is structured, internal horseshit, PR, etc, etc....IDGAF if she is involved in that as long as she isn't mucking it up or has some clue. But it's very, very, VERY unlikely I am gonna believe some hedge fund billionaires wife had the foggiest notion about anything in regards to legit pro or college personnel decisions.

I believe that even less than I think some fuging billionaire hedge fund manager has any clue about football decisions either. His "experience" was cosplaying as a Steelers minority owner.

Quite frankly, the 1% involvement in charitable deeds is rarely as transparent as you may believe.

I for one wouldn't of done what Tepper did.  Maybe you would have.   I would have only done really cool stuff.  Free beer!   All you can eat nachos!  A draft of only Clemson Tiger players at every spot to make up for the sins of the past.  Don't forget free beer!
