This news got me thinking and now i'm curious if it's just me so i have a question for all of you.

I despise Atl an NO but not the Bucs. I dot know why but I don't. So my question is this.

Do the rest of Panther's fans feel the same and why do you think that is??

I mean Im a 100% panther fan, I hate all the opponents. If you forced me to rank them based on how much levels of despise. #1 for me is the saints for the most. fug you Brees and Payton and Jordan and whole smelly fan base.  2nd would be ATL, I've never got over that superman TD by vick...... 3rd would be bucs who have owned the division along with having a fraud SB.

Most of my feels come from how things were 10-15 years ago.

I DO feel the same...no explanation other than I grew up watching them. Honestly, if they were in another division I would wish them nothing but the best (now that that turd Brady is gone).

I understand how you feel on the buccs, I don't hate them as much as ATL or NO but I do in fact hate them. Brady helped bring some more of the hate juice for buccs back.

Maybe it stems from the fact that they were so bad for so long while I was growing up. It's hard to hate a team and pity them at the same time. Unfortunately, it makes me wonder if anyone really HATES the panthers right now (outside of the NFCS).

Maybe the cardinals? since we seem to beat them no matter how bad we are haha. But I cannot pity another team being bad. If I don't have pity for my own team, i can't have it for any other team.

Brown is good wirfs is close to generational.   And at the time we needed a lt.  fuging rhule fuging hurney

Brown had over 100 tackles as a defensive tackle.

Assuming he remains healthy, if he continues those stats he will be considered “generational”

No he won't, and that's nothing against Brown or what he can be, but DT's are only considered "generational" when they also rack up sacks.

He can still be an elite player for us, make pro bowls and all pro teams, but unless he significantly increases his sack total, he'll never make it to the "generational" label, just the nature of the position and today's game.  Racking up tackles from the DL just doesn't flash enough to earn that standing these days.

Bucs continue to have issues -- they have a league-leading 464lb player who was just put in "non football injury reserve" list due to his weight.

The good news is that he's getting the help he needs; carrying that much around can't be good long-term for the knees or other important parts

"He's working at [losing weight], and we're working with him and that's all you can ask right now."

The 6-foot-6 defensive tackle has been working with a team nutritionist, and the team hasn't said what would be an ideal playing weight for him.

It's because we owned the Bucs for so long that they aren't as offensive.

    • It’s like being on the Flyers broadcast team feed so far
    • Boy the flyers look good early. Lots of bad plays and slow start by our team. Hope that changes before the score changes.
    • I guess I should have stipulated outside the sacred cow.   I complained from year one that Bryce should compete for and win the starting job on his own merit but no he was just handed it. I have been right there with everyone that wants competition.  But I don’t really have a huge problem with it for this season the way it has gone because where are the viable people we don’t have to trade for? I actually am okay with tiny hands Pickett because he is so close to Bryce arm strength wise and to be honest, skill wise. Probably. And it is only a one year deal.  That also takes into account that the QB class is looking stacked next year and if Young fails miserably then we get either a reset or a real competition and there will be more guys that I would like looking at in the FA QB class next year as well.    I sort of accept where we are this year and look at it as another treading water year (at QB). I just want to get to next year with some clarity. More than anything. And they did empty out the room. Again, who was really there for us?  And I know it would not be a true competition at this point anyway. They are giving him the year, like it or not.    Also I don’t give a poo about winning games IF he sucks and or goes down after sucking because draft position and that stacked QB class.  And I want out from under him So Bad.     So I guess it is several factors that lessen my anxiety over his backup this particular season.    I am not trying to convince anyone, but you asked. That’s how I look at it.
