Rashawn Slater carted off with a leg injury earlier today...

He just got thee Big bag too.....

One of the rule of thumbs when the cart is needed minimum of 4-6 weeks until the player is back to health. Other times they are done for the year.

Should serve as a cautionary tale for us.

Yep. The only thing worse than making a QB draft mistake is doubling down on it and paying the guy pretending you didn't make a mistake.

I hope Bryce proves to be a legit franchise QB but we can't pay him like one if he isn't

    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
    • Dude he didnt play in pre season.....  he didnt practice at all with the team until the end of October.    I do agree though.
    • Bryce had a hand in the Miami win but not nearly as large of one as Rico and he also had the extra burden of being a big reason we were in the hole in the first place. If we get a winning season he is definitely back for next year though.
