And then there is this guy ^^^^ who has such an impressive level of one mindedness that he drags bryce hate into every single thread after complaining for years we needed to draft a qb

If he replicates the last 10 games he would be a mid level QB.  Not sure that's worth throwing a bag at unless you see improvement.

I completely lol agree, unless they are all like week 18 lol.

Way to early to take about that.... but I digress my point was how far he will go to drag bryce into a thread lol.

That did get lost a lot in the excitement that he was finally playing competent football. He was basically a bottom third of the NFL starting caliber QB.

We don't need to see more of the same, we need to see improvement and really, a lot of it.

Tepper has sucked the life force out of most of the fan base.  He pissed off the SC fans  when he yanked camp from Wofford and then went a step further by all but closing camp to the public citing construction as the reasoning.

Sorry, but fielding a sh!tty product for years and then telling the fans loyal enough to still stick around you no longer have the right to watch camp practices after being able to do so for 30 years kinda hits the wrong way.  Now he charges for Fan Fest?

Excuse us for not being giddy like little school girls over Fan Fest anymore.

Fan Fest is a family event. The players were in full pads this year for the first time in what seems like 15 years, which was cool, but my kid was ready to bail around 7:30 because she wouldn't nap during the day so I only saw a bit of scrimmaging. Still had a great time.

I'm really worried about the Panthers once Gen X and Millennials start disappearing.

It’s really hard to get a young kid interested in a loser other than it being ‘dad’s team.’ Kids like fun. What’s fun about 3 and outs and historically bad defense? It’s even harder in a state/region where college sports still dominate the popularity contest.

Those of us who lived the magic of 03 and 15, we know what it’s like to pull for a winner. To go in to a game as the 7 point favorite…. but it’s been a decade now.

We all hate the thought…. But this team needs, gasp, a bandwagon. It really does.

Win games and market players that embody the ‘brand’. Delhomme, Smith, Dan, Cam, Luke, Davis, Greg, Mills, etc. Dawgs with swag. Many ‘fans’ only tune in (at least initially) to cheer on their guy. They can’t name 3 other players on the team.

Recipe for Big Mamma’s Original bandwagon chili:

1. Team gets good. Gets fun.
2. Newbies watch, have no idea what the hell is going on, but they hear the same names called on every big play.
3. They get to liking a certain dude and now have ‘their guy.’
4. They buy the jersey.
5. They now watch primarily to see their guy ball out, but winning is cool too.
6. Hopefully they learn more names and how football is played.

Since the exodus of Cam, who are now those guys? Blue chippers. It just hasn’t been fun.

No headliner. No winning…. your ‘player only’ fans? Hasta la vista, baby. Gone. We saw it on the huddle with the Cam only fans.

They cheat on you. They’ll start watching grandpa’s team… the one here before the Panthers… that one in Washington. Those dudes seem to be doing pretty well these days.

This team NEEDS Young to be Mighty Mouse. It’s too late to go shopping for another franchise QB. Too many of the current offensive players will be way too expensive in 2-3 years unless Dan can walk on draft water. The window is now.

Inevitably, all teams decline as franchise QBs leave and coaching staffs turn over. The hope is to have retained a decent percentage of the bandwagon who eventually learned the game and migrated from ‘player fan’ to ‘team fan.’

They hang on, stay thirsty for the next go round, and have hardened in spirit enough to endure the down years. Our numbers are dwindling.

Mac and bone on Friday were saying we should pay Bryce 50 million per year if he replicates the last 10 games of the season.   So yeah stupidity and irrationalness is the air.

I see the sticker shock, but $50M a year by 2028 won’t even be top 20 imo

I have been frequenting the huddle for years, there used to be a fan fest thread with several pages of posts from people attending, highlights and more. now there is nothing. the huddle is not only a reflection of it's declining fan interaction and fan interest but also an extension of the lack of of the teams social media coverage, twitter, etc. I think I even remember being able to stream fan fest, what has changed? we have more social media employees than ever and live in a era where social media coverage has quite literally become the heart and soul of fandom for anything. why is there less coverage than 2005?

I'll tell what has happened.....fan disenchantment with a seven year going on eight losing team. Start winning again please.

The Huddle is dying and the sooner y’all realize that, the better.

Yall are not fun to be around. If you looked for Panthers content outside the Huddle, you’d see it’s everywhere.
