I mean i agree with most of this and ngl I'm a big sports gambler (I'm up around 6 figures since it was legalized in nc)  but the adds are f*cking annoying as hell.

I'm still a die hard Panthers fan at heart ❤️  but ngl sports betting made watching the NFL a lot more palatable when I knew they were gonna suck.

Not hate meant towards people who gamble, *so long you are not ruining loved ones life*. I do not care what people do with their money, not my business. Years ago I had a couple acquaintances that gamble for their main job, at one point one of them made a legit fortune betting on WNBA of all things. Im not nearly as informed as a once was about sports in general and that was my whole reason we hung out- talk sports and strategy.

You can call me whatever label, I say this while wanting as freedom as humanly possible. If I was king of all lands, no ads for drugs or gambling. FYI I consider food a drug(pills, booze, etc), so no food ads too. Still have the means to gamble and buy drugs, but not though ADs.

It's interesting that you continue to die on this hill of negativity completely ruining your fandom yet you were one of the first people to poo all over the Kon Knueppel pick. Not very consistent of you Mr. Anti Negativity.

Yep, and tell me how many posts I made pooing the pick in the “Kon Knueppel Looks Terrible” summer league thread. ZERO. Having opinions is ok, it’s the constantly raging about them. But keep demonstrating your complete lack of understanding of anything I’m saying. Again, when you live in a world of absolutes…

Hence why I am all for the maturation of automated driving. It will remove the most dangerous components on every road, the people.

I have been working a lot with automation of various things over the past few years.  When and if automated driving occurs, things will get worse before they get better.  There will be hidden flaws in the automation software, some people will have a lot of trouble adjusting to it and it will make things worse for them, and there will be the ever present security threats.  A car or bus or truck getting hacked could be a huge deal.

No doubt. But even so, it will likely be significantly less deadly than people currently are. Especially at the current death rate.

Not surprised at all at you trying to force that conclusion. I’m extremely over this conversation or whatever it is. Can we agree on a Go Panthers? Hope they crush the Browns.

Is there anything more absurdly American than shunning public transportation for individual self driving cars?

Self driving cars are nowhere near being feasible for mass use yet and might not be in our lifetime. But not all public transportation is created equal by any means. And public transportation in many parts of america versus overseas are not at all comparable. In NYC you could either get randomly set on fire or pushed in front of a moving train just trying to use public transit. I'm good.

Supervised autopilot is more realistic.  My car basically does that now with lane keep assist and the dynamic cruise control

Less likely than dieing in a car accident.

I think thou doth protest too much. I've seen plenty of posts from you where you are anything but anti Tepper.

I can't even take out my Panthers wallet without someone asking me why on earth I'm a Panthers fan 🤣

If you or anyone else want to live sunshine and rainbows shooting from your buttocks 24/7 and be an unpaid mouthpiece for the Tepper's that is absolutely your right to do so. Doesn't mean it's the only way or the right way to be a fan.

I feel there has been alot less negativity this year. The negativity in years past was warranted, we have been hot ASS for 7 years straight now.

    • This is about getting open and YAC....and the QB we have.  You basically are just highlighting average depth when targeted vs 2 players. .  And yeah, I often say AT is a small slow reliable TE in terms of what he does for us.   That's what he is.   I think a couple of you want to make this into a Renfrow argument.   I'm a Renfrow fan.  Renfrow does not check the box of what a BY O needs either at the slot.  Renfrow just a niche roleplayer at this level.  it's easy to look up how horrific AT is with the ball in his hands and in terms of getting open.....and it's also easy to look up what a low ceiling of an offense the steady AT diet produces w/ BY.
    • The one time he's actively tried to lose was the best we've ever done.
    • I simply acknowledge BY is the QB.  And just like we did when we drafted him.....the type O you would need to setup around him for success was always pretty simple.  But we have done virtually the opposite.  XL dropping some passes isn't why we were ranked the 32nd O and 30th passing the past 2 years.  *Ricky Prohel was brought up only in regards to role function he served on the team.  Niche/specialist.   He wasn't eating up the snaps in the O.    AT should have a similar snap %. People could MAUL Ricky Prohel and put hands all over him.   We got to the Super Bowl in part because we were mauling guys (our slot CB).   You can't do that now.  AT has a MUCH easier life and still can't get open.  Or run.    If you live in 3 WR sets, with a weak armed QB, and you choose to put someone who can't get open or run in the slot.......well, your are going to have a weak pass O.  That's by design IMO.
