Media touting tonight as The Shedaur Show

From what I hear we might get two series of plays max out of the starters.  If there is an expectation for perfection and highlight reels then prepare to be disappointed.  I hope the team (BY in particular) doesn't look bad but I don't expect much more than competent play.

I'll take competent play.

"During an appearance on 'SportsCenter' Friday afternoon, ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi reported that Sanders will see a pretty significant workload.

"'You should expect to see a lot of Shedeur Sanders tonight,' Oyefusi reported. 'He's going to get about 50 plays, so well into the second half before Tyler Huntley takes over.' Now r has received zero first-team reps — he's gotten the fewest reps of that four-man group when everyone has been healthy — but the Browns are resting their starters."

The Sports media will huff anything and tell you it's exciting.

Get reps and figure out how to improve. The rest is for the easily excitable.

"The Cleveland Browns' preseason matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Friday night just may be the most anticipated preseason game in NFL history."

That's disinformation. There is a controversy that began when teams were leaking that they wouldn't consider taking Sanders before he ever even had a workout or an interview. Tyler Shough was taken before him for crying out loud. Dylan Gabriel who is half the athlete of Bryce Young yet the same height. Jalen Milroe who lost to Vanderbilt with the collection of talent that Alabama has. Jaxson Dart who was average, at best, in a Lane Kiffin offense which is known to actually be a detriment to QB prospects.

There certainly was controversy, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

I really got under your skin, didn't I?

Just proving my point. Most anticipated preseason game in history is freaking hilarious.
