Tonight's Game

What's up huddle. We're back again for the 2025-26 campaign. It's been a long time since we've collectively had a roster that warrants true optimism. I know we’ve all been through the wringer these past few seasons—Rhule, Fit, Reich, front office decisions that didn’t exactly pan out, revolving door at QB, BY9 struggles etc... You get it, you were there, in the game threads just like I was. 

But it's something in the air that feels a bit different. Leadership, Hunger, Talent, Youth, all things that we've lacked for a long time.

I’m not calling playoffs in August, but I do think this is the start of something better. Tonight is our first chance to see the pieces working together—hopefully for more than just a year at a time.

Here’s to a season of progress, surprises, and finally some stability.

What’s the one thing you’re most hoping to see tonight?

 

SN: Many of you that have attended games in the past are familiar with the halftime party that occurs in section 525. In place of the wonderful Diane...myself and DJ T-Nice from Split Second Sound, will be working the halftime party tonight bringing the energy. If you’re in the area, swing by and jam for a bit! Come say what’s up, give me a fist pound… or better yet,  the loudest KEEP POUNDING you’ve got. Just look for the big ugly guy with a microphone . Whether you're Roaring Riot, or attending your very first game....Let’s meet some fellow fans, share the hype, and kick this season off the right way!

I just want the starting units and primary backups to look competent then give me some bright spots among the camp bodies/guys fighting for spots and get out of there healthy and I'll call it a win.

No injuries and see that we have some pieces in place to build on. Not gonna get too high or too low based on preseason games. 

Just get all these guys the reps they need.

If BY9 doesn't get us 17 points in the first two drives, then we might as well trade away all the starters for draft picks and start the tanking!!!!!

 

Am I doing this right? I've never talked tank before. I usually say play to win and pray for no injuries, but I want to fit in with cool kids who know better.

I hope your place of employment isn't a critical job and doesn't rely on you to do Kindergarten math.

I think games rarely meet hopes and what we want to see.  I think most are wanting to see Tmac do a bunch of things and go off or something like that.  I'm not sold Canales gives us a lot of the "main" guys. 

I think the MVP of the game will be something like Etienne grinding through the 2nd half and busting one.

Good or bad it's important to remind ourselves we won't really know what we have in Bryce and this team until the live bullets start to fly. I remember a good amount of people (including myself) being optimistic after the one Bills preseason drive last year only for Weeks 1 and 2 to go how they did. For anyone who needs a reminder

i want a sweet ass TD from Tet or XL then pack up the offense and then lets see these scrubs that will never see the field
