Shedeur Sanders is still a rookie Qb.who very well might win the starting job in Cleveland .especially ,if he keeps playing like he did in that first game against the  Carolina Panthers

the Cleveland Browns are also in a position with the depth they have at Qb that they can bring those two rookie Qbs along slowly & give them  proper amount of time to develop  & learn behind a seasoned vets like Joe  lFlacco or even Kenny  Pickett  .which is what I think Stafanski is doing right now & it makes perfect sense no reason to start neither one of those two  rookie Qbs game 1 in Cleveland ...just saying

Imagine calling what the Browns have at QB "depth."

I would rank that as perhaps the 10 or 11th biggest issue with the roster.

I mostly agree, but the real reason preseason games are so hard to watch is the poor quarterback play. Nothing affects the quality of the game more. Still, after next week, it won’t really matter.

I generally disagree. I think the other issues are making the QB play even worse.

Regardless, we will see how it really is soon enough.

At this point would anyone really care if Tepper moved the team? Charlotte hates him. Interest in the panthers is at 99-02 levels bad and no one really cares minus kids and hardcore fans.

It isn't going to happen and obviously fans would care. We don't want the team gone, we want him gone.

You want to know what this looks like, see the Shinn Hornets. The fanbase never really recovered from that fiasco.

George shinn traded alonzo mourning when he was probably a top 5ish player in the league.  Thats criminally level stupidity

Hi Tom Brady, what's it like being the most prominent example of a completely freakish historical outlier.

There are more than a few NFL types, ex-players, ex-players turned analysts, and analysts in general that have said that Shedeur Sanders had no business falling to the fifth round. I've heard Browns fans say it, and other teams' fans say it. But here, on the Carolina Huddle, you still have Panthers fans clutching onto a narrative about all these questions about Sanders' ability that were largely magnified once he began to slide. Yes, on the months, weeks and days leading up to the draft, no one thought that Sanders would slide to day three of the draft, so the "5th round" distinction, though true, is not a pure representation of Sanders' talent and skills and what he actually brings to the table. Some believe he should have really been drafted in the first round, but a day two selection was at least believable. Round 5? Not so much, even to more casual NFL fans (at least that's my experience from talking to people, listening and reading). Now, of course, fans are just fans, what do they know? Sometimes, it appears that they know more than people who are actually paid to make personnel decisions (and that's not necessarily hyperbole). I tell you this because it's food for thought. Excuse me if I don't prioritize Panthers fans' opinions of Shedeur Sanders over people's who actually played the game, many current Browns fans, and other analysts who are paid to analyze for a living. It may have been too far outside the box to think that Sanders would have been given an opportunity to legitimately compete for Bryce Young's job in Carolina in light of the situation and the way that the Panthers' front office rolls, but I don't think it's a stretch to say that he could have been legitimate competition (round 5 or not).

Can we start putting up billboards and flying planes over the stadium saying sell you share of the team Tepper?
