Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection

A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.

I would be very surprised to see Moore bumped if we keep 7 WR's.

Tremayne is easily stashed on the PS with no threat of anyone signing him off it.

Looks legit, gotta think if a LB or safety they like gets cut we would make a move.

Tremayne would have to clear waivers. Moore wouldn't which is why I think the team could go this way.

We could resign David Moore to the PS with no fear of anyone claiming him.

Tremayne has showed enough I think there's a legit chance someone could claim him.

But, I'm not certain we keep 7 WRs.

You and I were spot on on offense except I had Moore over Tremayne although I see your point about Moore not having to clear waivers. My other question was whether we kept another lineman (Kandra?) with Zavala being hurt, but he was back in pads today. 

On D, we disagree on a couple of bottom of the roster guys. I had Crumley over Robinson and Bam over Rhattigan, but WTF do I know. Rhattington played well Saturday.

Also, I agree that Fitzgerald hasn't done enough to displace Wright.

I just don't see how we possibly keep 7 WRs giving we are a pretty mild pass O and strive for balance overall.   Think WRs max out at 6.   Probably give that spot to a defensive special teamer on coverage units.

not sure how Tremble is going to be ready for week 1 per Canales

had back surgery in May and hasn't had any practice/live contact all preseason, but will be ready for week 1?

I know it’s not popular. But I don’t think Jimmy Horn makes it. Was reading on Twitter earlier about how his reps in practice and games have dropped off significantly. Tremayne will be the bubble guy.

Yeah. He's ok for Carolina, but I don't think any other teams are waiting around for a chance to snag him.

That was my thought originally, but so many of the beat writers have mentioned keeping 7 WRs in conversations that I went with that, at least for the purposes of this projection.

But you're right that historically defensive guys who were standouts at ST have tradionally gotten those last spots
