Thielen traded

Recommended Posts

If Thielen is the link to Bryce Young’s success like some of y’all seem to think then we are fuged.

But in reality Jalen Coker put up a 7 for 7 for 62 in the last game of the season and showed he can be a volume target.

We also just opened up a ton of slot snaps and for those that are unaware, yes, McMillan has played the slot and is a matchup nightmare there.

Then you factor in that we got compensation for a guy who is at the end of his career, has an injury history, and and may not even be in the league next year… I fail to see where the issue is even if the fourth round pick is in 2027.

again the 4rth will help but is it worth Bryces development if the other dudes dont step up?

If Thielen is that crucial to Bryce's "development" Bryce doesn't have any developing to do.  He just is what he is.  We've got an extremely talented receiving corps even without Thielen.  No more excuses.  Time for Bryce to perform.

You’re suggesting our offense can not run without Theilen? Man, we’re in worse shape than I thought.

It's just a question to try and get you to think about value to yourself (A) vs value to the marketplace (B).  And if A > B then you don't sell.

Coker and Horn Jr.

Told everyone they were higher in Horn then it looked. Also said that Thielen was pushing for the trade internally. So he gets what he wants and the Panthers got there 4th plus 5th. lol

Coker for sure. I see him sliding into AT's role. I didn't see much out of Horn and would've rather kept Renfrow.

why would he want out after we gave him a raise to come back.  Its probably me but something is missing in all this

Maybe him and his wife were homesick and he realized he wanted to finish his career back there? I agree it’s odd considering the contract he got here, I just don’t know what else it could be

He lined up the offense a lot and helped call out protections based on looking at tape.

You are not wrong.  But neither am I.

Honestly, if the two of them wanted out after getting a raise this offseason to come back, then I'd rather have IR'd him with a papercut and just paid him to not be able to play this year.

They only wanted out because the Vikings badly needed a WR, doesn't mean we should have bent over and let the Vikings shove their horn up our ass

That move is the kinda thing that makes FAs avoid your team, and our reputation already isn’t great.

Something changed in between when he signed the deal for this year and the present.  I don't think it's a huge leap of faith to say he's not particularly excited about this season for the Panthers.
