I always try to have hope and excitement at the start of a new season, but nothing I have seen to date makes me think the Panthers come out firing on all cylinders. They will sputter and struggle to score points and struggle to stop the Jags. Canales will be in panic/scramble mode after week 1.

My honest prediction is a blowout loss similar to the 2024 opener.  Like 35-10 or 35-13 sounds about right to me.

The order of the reporting maybe, but they werent happy with his conditioning and then put him on a workout program which he apparently worked on.  There is smoke there regardless of what you believe because its not a totally normal thing to put a player on a team regulated workout plan, it can happen though.

I predict/assume we will start the season off on the wrong food as usual. There doesn't seem to be any kind of urgency in the team. I'd treat every game as must-win.

I'd like the defense to be different and take the Jags off guard. It was puzzling what we did in preseason, so I am hoping that they just were vanilla and didn't put forth effort. With D. Brown, B. Brown and Moehrig, we should focus on completely shutting down the run. They aren't going to improve that much on defense from last year, but with those three additions,they should at least focus on stopping either the run or pass instead of letting both be terrible

Except they have shown nothing of Brown starting at NT and still have Wharton listed as the starter XD

it would be awesome to see Horn shadow BTJ.  But odds are at like 1%.

DC seems soft to me. The team just never looks all that prepared. I expect a slow start. Maybe they pick up a bit towards the end like last year.
