A 300 yard, 4 TD, 0 INT, 92% completion game.  Ho-hum, another day at the office.  This is against Wisconsin too, mind you, not UNCC.

Needs a West coast, precision offense, imo.  Could be a great one. I started to respond to this thread, but my brain took me off on a tangent, and it necessitated a new thread--just a different logic, if it can be called that.

I'm not sure he needs a WCO.  I think the taking the first read too often criticism is overblown.

The biggest issue beyond Sellers’ control has been South Carolina’s pass protection.

Entering this weekend, Sellers ranks as the second-most pressured Power 4 starter (139 times), behind only Texas’ Arch Manning. The difference? Manning has faced one of the highest blitz rates of any quarterback in college football; Sellers is among the least-blitzed QBs.

That was my reaction too. He hasn’t looked great this year, but the situation around him sounds terrible. If you draft him and allow him to sit for a year or two, the upside is very high. Sure there is risk involved, but such upside.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
