you can clown him for the deep ball to Tmac he actually got off.  Tmac had the defender beat over the top.  Tmac had to hit the breaks and come to a complete stop and wait on it to come down.  Then it becomes a 50/50 ball we thankfully got PI on.

you can't clown him for the one he didn't get off....you just can't assume he would have made a good throw if he got it off

You're not talking about this play where Bryce got clotheslined while trying to throw it, are you? Great adjustment by TMac to one hand it even with DPI. Not quite sure how folks can use this play to dog on TMac or Bryce, but go off?

He was the 8th player taken in the draft and the first true WR taken off the board.

I saw what he did in the pre-season (camp doesn't count or we'd thing Bryce was great) and it was nothing really. Pretty much what we got from everyone.

Right now, he's meh. He can certainly prove me wrong.

Kelvin Benjamin was lighting it up once upon a time. So did Keary Colbert. Meh until proven otherwise.

No matter how strong his Bro vibe is, his game has been uninspiring so far. Light it up man, that's what we picked you to do. One handed no-catches and no YAC isn't going to impress anyone.

Guy is on pace for a rookie season of 85 catches for 1,156 yards after Bryce looked like complete utter garbage and he "lost" a 30+ yard catch in which he drew a PI but maybe still made the catch (plus another 15 yarder negated due to a meaningless penalty, add just that 15 yarder and he's on pace for 102 rec and 1,400+ yards).

But sure, he's meh and uninspiring, okay.

Canales confirmed that TMac ran the wrong route and was supposed to set the pick for XL on the 4th & 1 call.

Also said that Bryce's throw was a miscommunication as he thought XL was going to go to the back pylon rather than the front.

Said TMac played fast, looked comfortable 1-on-1 outside, moved him around a little bit, was on the same page as Bryce timing wise, ran a beautiful route on the potential TD that got broken up. Gave the team a chance to have explosives down the field while also being a consistent target.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
