I’m trying to be positive on Bryce Young, but….

Due to ickys upcoming deal and of course moton it probably will hold for some time

Even before Icky's new deal we are ahead of the Chiefs at #2 by $14 million. #3 we are ahead by $26 million. We are absolutely paying through the nose to protect our QB who goes out there and plays horrendously with poor body language.

I tried.

I’ve been down on him since he came to Carolina. Even when he was doing “well” at the end of last season, I still wasn’t sold because his numbers still didn’t pop out. He was still putting up game manager numbers. He had a really good game against ATL, and with that I told myself I’d be ok with him getting this season to start.

After this past performance, I am squarely on the get rid of him train. All this inconsistency; I’m good on it. Ready to move on. I could see him playing decent down the stretch like he did last year, but the pressure will have been relieved by then. Ready to move on.

Sums up my feelings exactly!!

If the Panthers extend Bryce and give him a massive contract after this season, I will seriously reconsider my fanship for this team.

Oh god, I'd be done for sure. I couldn't stand another 3-4 years of Bryce being awful for half a season and decent the other half while the Panthers always pick top 10 and ignore QB.

I didnt see the game but McShay is raving about mateer.

I may be completely off base, but he reminds me a lot of Baker beyond just the Oklahoma connection. Roughly the same size, little bit of the same recklessness. Don't think he's a perfect prospect by any means, and frankly he's another undersized guy who's mechanics can get funky. I could see Canales wanting him for obvious reasons, but I could see us being scared of a "little" guy again and going after a brick shithouse of a QB.

He looks pretty legit. Was the top transfer QB in the portal and is living up to the hype so far. I want to see more out of this Arkansas QB too.

I didnt see much of any college ball on Sat but I do know there are so good prospects.  I just normally listen to mcshay to see who they are and then try to catch the games.  But he loves mateer, the ark dude, sellers, lsu kid and cade K.

That allar or the ark kid.   I really like allar as he navigates the pocket nicely and i am an old school pocket passer kindof guy.  I know its not en vogue especially after last night but running qbs I went sour on after seeing cam just take some monster shots

I’m SMH and trying to figure out how Bryce goes from horrible to being top 10 the last 10 games of 2024 to being horrible again. You watch guys like Allen and Jackson play the way they do and I have to think that maybe Bryce just doesn’t have it.

Top 10?

Cam took most of his nasty shots in the pocket and his injury came off a chase down. He also got head hunted but that gets called now for sure ...... Right?????

    • Since Tepper bought the team we've made 43 draft selections before this last draft. Of those 43 only 11 I would consider guys that should be on NFL rosters, not even starters but should be on teams period. Of those 11 only 4 are good to above average NFL players.  Brian Burns correcting me if I'm wrong but hurney pick Hubbard picked by Matt rhules wife Derrick Brown this was Hurneys last first round pick right? Jaycee Horn - the one pick fitterer/Morgan made that looks like a pro bowl player. Problem is they picked him right in front of first team all pro at the same position.
    • I'm with you on this. I watched the beginning until the weather delay, saw enough of the game to say to myself, "I think I will go outside and cut my grass". Pretty sad that cutting grass is way better than watching the Can'thers play. Actually had a good time and the weather was awesome. Probably gonna stick with that M/O for the foreseeable future.
    • Tepper makes the wrong decision in literally every case. It's laughable at this point. It is as hard as getting every single decision right. Give me one example of one thing he's got correct in 8 fuging years. It's no surprise that promoting the assistant GM that worked for the worst GM that I've ever seen was a mistake. This goes all the way back to insisting that Ron run a 3-4 and the defense goes to complete poo and we suck. That decision in my opinion cost us 3 or 4 more seasons of the greatest middle linebacker to ever do it.
