How many games before they pull the plug for good

Just as it was last year: benching Bryce Young is a DUMB move.  Literally 0 upside to it.

Yes, Bryce Young sucks.  But we're stuck with it.  Why bench him and risk a lucky win or two with the back-up QB momentum?  Why risk Bryce getting reinserted into the line-up and playing "inspired" football, fooling us into giving him one more year?

Stop making the wrong choice, Carolina. I said it last year and I will say it again: Bryce Young is a "earn you the No. 1 overall pick" level QB.  You have to ride him out the entire season.  Let him do what he's already done and that is secure the worst record in the league.

This is a silly comment. In reality he benched Bryce and was never going back to him.  Dalton got hurt and they were forced to play Bryce.  Bryce played "well enough" to get another chance.  He is stinking his second chance up and he is probably on thin ice as it is.

that's exactly why Canales got fugged.  They were only forced to play Bryce because they allowed that to be what happened when Andy got hurt.   The talk was all about trading Bryce Young  given it was clearly over.  Morgan and Carolina didn't pull the trigger.......they allowed for the nightmare comeback (of meh) to occur.

In the end, it blew up in their face sort of like the Wilks tank job attempt.  Wilks blew that up in their faces too.  Bryce ended up fugging up their plans.  Carolina can't do anything right.  Even when they sort of get it right in the big picture.

They should of dealt Bryce.  And if you want to actually tank....you keep Rhule and trade CMC.  You don't insert of functional HC into the dysfunction.

From the fan perspective, I agree. From a locker room perspective, you're gonna lose the locker room continuing to play a wholly ineffective QB. You lose your ability to hold anyone accountable and you're basically telling the locker room you're not even trying.

I think it's becoming apparent that there isn't anything in the locker room to lose.

this.  although, I think you gotta slightly worry about a very small handful of competent players.  Horn, Brown, Hunt, etc.   Eventually, everyone starts thinking like Theilen.

I'm pretty sure they've seen this movie before. They get paid no matter what so they will get over it.

This. Who are we going to lose exactly? Is Xavier Legette going to throw a hissy fit and start actually catching more than rodents? Is Trevin Wallace going to stop trying to tackle? And if he did could we even tell?

I wish people would stop commenting on trading for a QB. NO. If we get another QB it will likely be via Draft. Regardless, won't happen until off-season. No need to trade for someones backup that will likely give us similar if not worse results, in an attempt to win games that you will all complain about us winning come draft time. Let this season play out no matter how ugly it gets. Jay Z needed 30 years to do something and so will we or however the saying goes.

Jay-Z is Hindu, so it was his 13th life before he made it. 2937 Carolina Panthers win the Galaxy Bowl versus the Proxima Centauri Centaurs.

    • My projection. I think at WR its time to go with youth. This means Moore should be the odd man out. Horn can return both punts and kicks and Tremayne is a better WR than Moore. XL gets one more year to prove himself, although I could see a trade in the future which would mean Moore could stay. For OL, I would like us to bring back Brady if we can. The RBs, Trevor can return both punts and kicks too. With the uncertainty of Brooks and Dillon, its hard to choose either one. I think the team would like for Brooks to have a breakout season to clear any uncertainty that he deserves a spot. For now, I have them both even and on the team. DL looks solid as well as OLB. Watch out for the UDFA of Aaron Hall and Isaiah Smith at OLB. They look promising and could knock someone off the team. ILB is still the biggest weakness on the team. We need to upgrade that any means necessary. CB is strong and Im praying to all the Gods that Wheatley beats out Scott at FS.  OFFENSE: WR: Tetairoa McMillan - *Chris Brazzell II* - Brycen Tremayne TE: Tommy Tremble - James Mitchell LT: #Rasheed Walker# - *Monroe Freeling* LG: Damien Lewis C- #Luke Fortner# - *Sam Hecht* RG: Robert Hunt - #Saahdiq Charles# RT: Taylor Moton - #Stone Forsythe# TE: Ja`Tavion Sanders - Mitchell Evans WR: Xavier Legette - Jalen Coker - Jimmy Horn Jr. QB: Bryce Young - #Kenny Pickett# RB: Chuba Hubbard - Trevor Etienne - #AJ Dillon# - Jonathon Brooks DEFENSE: LE: Tershawn Wharton - Bobby Brown III  NT: *Lee Hunter* - Cam Jackson RE: Derrick Brown - LaBryan Ray LOLB: Nic Scourton - Patrick Jones II  LILB: Trevin Wallace - Bam Martin-Scott - *Jackson Kuwatch* RILB: #Devin Lloyd# - Claudin Cherrelus  ROLB: #Jaelen Phillips# - Princely Umanmielen LCB: Jaycee Horn - Akayleb Evans RCB: Mike Jackson - *Will Lee III* - Chau Smith-Wade SS: Tre`von Moehrig - Lathan Ransom FS:  Nick Scott - *Zakee Wheatley* - Demani Richardson  SPECIAL TEAMS: K/KO: Ryan Fitzgerald P/H: Sam Martin KR: Trevor Etienne - Jimmy Horn Jr. PR: Trevor Etienne - Jimmy Horn Jr. LS: J.J. • His contract is guaranteed.  Legette is just not where he needs to be mentally.  Not fully invested, it seems.
    • Literally like Hill. He's not QB1 material (now or ever), but if we can turn him into a H-back and use him like  Swiss army knife, that's his ticket to make the roster.  H-back/emergency QB.  I wonder how good his hands are?  If they are at least above average by NFL standards then we can line him up in the backfield, in the slot, split out wide and of course, in the Wildcat.
