Hunter is still getting back in NFL shape.  takes a while after what he went through.

Hunter would be the talk of the NFL right now if the QB would have simply put the ball in target the past 3 weeks when he was open.   CPOY leading candidate

I think so too. He has done this before I don’t think it is him.

Yeah, Bryce seems to really struggle to put the ball on Renfrow down the field.

He struggles to put the ball on everyone down the field. We’re gonna live or die with the 5 -10 yard pass.

To be clear, I don't disagree. It's just exasperated when it's Renfrow due to his lack of height, reach, and leaping ability. Bryce usually misses high deep and that's an issue when you're Renfrow. Less of an issue if you're T-Mac.

Tremayne has earned the right to play over XL, that's for sure. Granted the bar to clear for that is on the floor but still. Honestly, when Coker returns I want to see T-Mac, Tremayne, and Coker getting heavy dose of snaps. The Bryce/Renfrow connection is just not planning out and XL has produced virtually nothing.

The Bryce-anyone connection isn’t panning out. The fact we don’t have a single burner at receiver is going to cause problems against better teams. Trade for Tryeek

That one surprised me. Definitely going to keep an eye on him when I get to rewatch this week.

As usual for the last couple weeks I do care more about your thoughts from the all 22 on the defense.  Seeing some of our younger guys making plays this week on D was great.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
