He's at the end of his career regardless of the pieces around him he just isn't a threat. Which defensive coordinators are staying up at night worrying about Adam Thielen?

Same as if we had kept Clowney to play in rotation. There he is on his retirement tour. Here he would have been much needed value in helping fill out gaps in production. Those guys aren't suposed to carry your team at that point in their careers. Just make a few well timed plays while setting the younger guys up for more success around them.

We should have traded XL but they made him a sandwich.

Lol. Even as an original "Pro Bryce" guy, I take no solace in the fact that CJ is struggling to regain his rookie magic. He does at least look like a valid NFL QB. Unfortunately, Bryce does not.

I think you are conflating different things entirely. AT is and was a threat here because he is an extremely crafty and effective veteran WR. We throw/threw to him in scenarios most wouldn't because the other options were unreliable or all too often not open. So, a lot of his production was him making chicken salad out of chicken poo whilst being force fed the ball in a lot of those scenarios.

Minnesota doesn't struggle with that. Also, they have been getting dumpster fire level QB play 100% of the season. Unless you truly believe that Justin Jefferson is only also capable of producing the paltry numbers he has(behind TMac in everything but TD's).

He is firmly a #4 option there. He would still likely be our #1 or #2.

I have heard ad nauseum that Stroud elevated his team as a rookie. Yet, Bryce has the better stats through the first three weeks of this season so far... what are the excuses for Stroud in year three?

My personal opinion is I just do not see Adam Thielen representing a major difference in our offense. He has little to no YAC and regardless our QB is not creating big plays. Either way we would still be slogging our way down the field.

Well most of their struggles have been playing better teams(Jax is arguable) so far. Combined opponent records of 7-2.

Stroud's struggles have largely been lack of WR options(injuries), the extremely poor OL play(tied for 8th in most sacks, and really sloppy/poor offensive play overall.

Not to say he isn't part of the issue. 

As for their seasons so far:

Stroud: 76.9 QB Rating, 34.8 QBR, 64.0 PFF, 64.5 QBERT

Young: 75.3 QB Rating, 36.3 QBR, 64.0 PFF, 66.9 QBERT

They have both been similarly bad this season.

Not to burst your bubble but he was first in 2023 and 4th in 2024 on our team in YAC.

Not trying in any way to suggest he is a YAC guy but 100% of the arguments you are making are basically invalid simply because his high production level here didn't have to do with his ability to be an elite WR. His production has been because he is frequently the only above average NFL receiver that we have had almost every time he has been on the field as a Panther. The exceptions are probably the short Dionte Johnson period we had and likely would have been TMac, were he still here.

Stoud has won the division 2 years in a row and won in the playoffs.  Odd flex you are trying to pull.   Cj has shown he can do it while with Bryce it's always excuses

He was all Bryce had here. Just speaks to the lack of offensive fire power on this team.
