I agree that BY has regressed. I think he can't handle the pressure and/or defenses have figured something out regarding his play.

BY regresses every offseason. It's got to be stressful just knowing you don't have the tools to do your job and their isn't anything you can do to change that fact. Then he shows up and they have to spend the first part of the season trying to match the offense to what he can do while other teams are building on improving. 

Now him sitting while the team improves without him and then him showing up to play Bryce ball is when he is at his best...because everyone else had a break from his effect to improve so it then looks better out of context.

the rumors of "bryce has tons of trade offers" after getting benched is peak SEC bullshit, and it even came from the beat writer agents leak to. It's the kind of poo stirring designed to make insecure coaches and narcissist owners second guess themselves for fear of missing out on a QB AGAIN. 

Once the decision is made a ton of knives are going to come out about Bryce from the Panthers end; that's just Tepper's way. I promise the darling of Alabama and future Dancing with the Stars contestant isn't going to just take it.

How is this an indictment of Bryce personally? Everything from him personally seemed like he handled his part well. What his camp or agent or Bama/SEC homers do is on them.

is bryce not in charge of the people he pays to send press junkets to all the reporters, lobby the gameday announcers, leak things to the press to make him look better? 

Bryce Young is a fuging operation and it has been since he got to Alabama. He's never said a single authentic thing and has spent almost all of 2025 pouting on the sideline and throwing his helmet and yelling at team mates. The more I think about the more I think his autistic little brother routine is as sincere as XL's accent.

I'm not good enough at Xs and Os to be honest.  

But I say that Dave isn't serving Bryce because we saw what happened last year after the benching.  They had an entire offseason to put their heads together to create, modify, improve everything that worked last year.  When things aren't working in games, they should be fixing them during the week.

Again, I'm not a how football plays work kind of person.  But I have to strategize, solve problems, deal with high pressure parents, kids, and overbearing administrators while delivering high quality results.  No, I'm not a pro athlete, nor coach a sports team, nor am I as handsome as I want to be.  But looking at this from a problem solving situation, I'm at a loss.
