It’s not an overly exciting draft class this year so there’s really not much for us to look forward to

Did you read anything in my post? My point is that sometimes (to us in particular), one additional win knocked us out of the spot where game changers were drafting. No offense, but getting Herbert over Brown and Parsons, Karlaftis and Porter Jr over Horn is franchise changing.

There is a difference in picking 1st to 3rd versus 8th to 10th. As much as you want to deflect, it gets you better players and huge trade offers instead of having to trade the world for Young since you’ve got pick 9.

It does. Had we traded Burns and Moore for 3 1sts and a 2nd when we traded CMC, we likely don’t finish as well and maybe we don’t have to give up the farm for Young or maybe we luck into Stroud dropping.

See my post earlier where me just missed out on a lot of talent because we had 5 wins, not 4 wins.

One thing that has to be discussed is if DC is brought back for year three on a short leash and we draft a new qb.  Then if DC gets fired the new qb will have 2 head coaches in 2 years.  Thats not good.

Its a tough spot to be in but it's of Teppers own making. From where I sit im not sure DC should be the guy to coach the team much less pick it's future qb.

The Titans just did this with Ward

Callahan should’ve been fired last year. They had the 1st overall pick and knew they needed a QB

Callahan showed he didn’t belong last year but instead they give him a second chance. Continues to show he isn’t a HC and now their number 1 overall pick will have a new HC going into year 2

If you’re going to draft a QB then clean house and have the GM, HC and new QB all on the same timeline

He was taken 25th. 
Thatbisnwhy I raged at selling the farm to go to 1 and omg the rage exploded at their use of the pick. But that trade never should have been done
