no fun league indeed.  I just don’t get poo like this at all.  Even on a win, Tepper finds a way to leave fans feeling alienated, violated, frustrated, and disgusted with this franchise.

Smh…

A sign damaged their team loyalty? Not the 38-83 record since Tepper bought the team?

Yeah, that last part is a bit dramatic. “Damaging” team loyalty is weirdly worded.  But, point remains…  that’s a weird fight to pick from the organization.  And why now?  And it can’t “touch” the stadium?  You mean the stadium that the fans paid (and continue to pay) for?

There is so much context missing here that I don't have an opinion. Seems like someone is looking for their few minutes of fame and went to rage bait to get recognition over a sign. If a sign cannot be affixed to the wall, and it's been that way since 2015, just hold the sign. I also assume that they were there for the Falcons game, so what changed there? I have a feeling that there is another side to this that isn't being told and as a result, I refuse to take the bait.

Too much rage bait online nowadays. Something happen you don't like? Call Saul, he will make a quality rage bait post which ensures you will get the attention you need to have your needs peddled to.

I agree.  I’m cautious to engage in many “take up my cause” posts nowadays.  But, this was shared by RoaringRiot’s founder that used to be a prominent guy here.  And he’s always been credible, so I figured it was pretty cut and dry.  I’m sure there is more to it, but idk…  I’m also finding a lot of people in this political and social climate are, as Charlie Murphy famously coined, “habitual line steppers.”  In this case, maybe an over zealous, “security is my life” guy making something his business that really wasn’t?

Seems about par for the course IMO. The Panthers have seemed to try to run off fans ever since Tepper started getting spurned by the fanbase because he ruined the team and the Roaring Riot has always been pretty cringe. So, yeah. Basically played out exactly as expected.

I also doubt, if it has been in the rules since 2015 that Tepper would have any part of telling people to go take it down.   I would say that call came from a lot of levels below him.   Its not a new rule, why would you blame Tepper.

Because Darth Tepper is the root of all evil in Panther land and must be purged from the galaxy.

    • Dante Moore is the top pick in a couple of mock drafts now.
    • Yeah I am sure you are right. Every week it seems there is something whacky in those numbers they post. I like my simple eyeball test, been watching over 60;years. I know when someone loses or wins a matchup or performs above or sucks.  When WR and QB aren’t in sync, I can’t know who was suppose to do what all the time and don’t try to say. Defensive coverages blown, I don’t always know that either.. so I am imperfect.  I think PFF is too. No big deal. It’s fun looking at the grades anyway.
    • The secret with PFF is they are specifically opaque because they traded in their once good reputation to poo out next day madden grades for monday morning desk warriors who want something to click on. It takes NFL teams about 36 hours to fully grade every play from their own team, and those are the coaches who know what all of the play calls are, who all of the players are, are professionals at their jobs, and have a staff of interns helping them do it.  I know people that do this for PFF. There are some people that are smart and good and know what they're talking about, but they're rare. And even in the case of people that have football experience, they don't know the plays. They have an idea of the plays. This is to say nothing about the idiots who played one year of JV ball and never saw the field and can't get over it. That's what the most of PFF is.  These grades are completely worthless.
