So great we have a qb that can move the ball as long as we’re getting 200 from the running back position.

We’ve got the two worst defenses in the nfl figured out. Shame about the others.

I was once told a conclusion can't be definitively be made without a proper sample size.  Let's see how things play out.  Thus far it's been good week, bad week, great week, meh week...in no particular order.  Let's see if Bryce's performances get some stability or will he continue the roller coaster/whiplash games week-to-week.  It's no secret that he's pretty good at home. Lets see how he does on the road versus the worst team in the League.  That's not hyperbole, the Jets are literally the only winless team in the League.

With as long as the Panthers have been horrible, it's important to understand that some people aren't ever going to be happy with the Panthers again.  Year after year, we've had hopium highs only to be dashed by the regular season.  I get it.

There are also plenty of Bryce critics, which are very fair.  I think Bryce had a pretty good game.  Not great, but good.  He made the plays we needed.  Now why aren't we seeing the explosive plays more often?  While some will point to his physical limitations, which are there, we've also seen him throw the ball downfield successfully.  He didn't forget how to do it.

I think that a lot of fans want to know that by year 3, we can see why Bryce was No. 1 overall over more physically talented QBs.  We're not.  The inconsistencies, the turn overs, the timid play.  There's a LOT going on from Bryce's play which makes a lot of posters(and fans) nervous and unhappy.  Again, no issues, fan how you want to fan.

The fact that while behind or tied, Bryce was 10/10 for 158 and 3TDs...  So that's a thing.  I'm not convinced that Bryce is THE DUDE, but he played pretty well Sunday.  He's got to string more strong games, keep protecting the ball, and he's going to have to try some downfield throws again.

This is why I've stopped watching. I finally just accepted  that. After holding out some hope that Bryce could turn it around I'd seen enough. We're stuck in purgatory right now. A backup RB playing like the best player in the league doesn't change that reality. I've watched my last Bryce QB'd Panthers game. Wake me up when it's over.

Not trying to convince anyone else to do the same, not trying to take away from anyone else's joy, that's just where I'm at at this point.

I literally fell asleep yesterday after watching the first series for both team. The only decent team they have played this year was the Jags and that was game 1 for a new first time HC.

261 and 3 TD is more to your liking?

Got it. I know where you stand.

I dont think its even crossed their mind that when you are running you arent passing. Young was more productive per attempt than Prescott yesterday.

Maybe we aren’t Bryce backers. We’re Panther fans who’s happy to see their young QB getting some help.

what we have witnesses the last 2 weeks isn't a QB getting some help (that's more of the downplaying).  It's a RB taking over a game, and completely dominating.   It's cartoon/video game behavior by a RB that you rarely see at this point in the NFL in back to back weeks.  Our franchise has never seen such play in a 2 week span in it's existence (and we had CMC, Double Trouble, etc).

You can be a Panthers fan while not liking the guy behind center.

winner winner chicken dinner!

Bryce backers see nothing wrong w/ not liking who they choose not to like.   But lord forbid if someone doesn't like the middle schooler back there.

If a team has a punishing ground game, the defense is fair to middling and has a QB that spreads the ball around to open receivers (no matter who they are) AND you're winning games...

Then what the fug are you complaining about?????

For fug's sake, just cheer a bit you twisted pisspots.

Just speaking for myself, it's year 3 and at the end of the season it's going to be pivotal in regard to Bryce's future in Carolina. I wish it was as easy as sitting back and enjoying the season, but the next 5 years or so is going to depend on his performance this year. Just the nature of the beast.

The interesting thing about this formula is that this is normally a recipe for a rookie qb. A heavy ground game is normally a rookie QBs best friend to succes except we are talking about a guy in his 3rd year so you can't be mad at folks for feeling indifferent because a lot of people thought the leap from bryce would be bigger. A lot of folks said all he needed was a number one receiver and he was gonna take off as a passer Literally. But Canales has realized taking the ball out his hands has led to success. He is just trying to win games not turn bryce into a elite qb as he should.
