Drafting X is like the poster board for mistakes. Hopefully, lesson learned.

do you think this makes it better

Yeah I do. Somewhat. He didn’t decide to do it on his own he reacted to someone telling him to do it. In a nanosecond.

I mean I am happy we got the ball back. But I do t have a hard on to run him off over it. We know he isn’t exactly a genius

I would want to run him off if he did it again.

Can we stop with the stupid attention whore hot take type posts and just enjoy a winning streak for once?

That's what your response is. Sorry (not sorry) that some of y'all's feelings seem to be so hurt.  It's ironic that some considered me a Bryce supporter at one time, and an X supporter at one time (yes, it's X, not "XL" as anyone who has done their homework knows), but now that I just keep calling it as I see it, and am not looking for X to be the guy across from Nalo, some of y'all have got a problem with that.

The win was enjoyed on Sunday and Monday, but the so-called win streak is not really fitting for a rousing celebration. When we start being your normal team with legitimately higher expectations perhaps we'll be happy to patiently wait for first round picks to at least live up to a mediocre standard after more than year even though other fan bases see their picks consistently flash in year one.

Nah Leggette just hasn't panned out yet. The move wasn't crazy considering his potential and our needs at the time. The mistake was overlooking McConkey because we had Theilen on rental.

The Brooks pick on the other hand never made sense from the get and now it's pro bowl or bust for him.

Bold statement after he tries to toss the game away to Dallas while getting wrapped up.

you can’t fix “this guy has no idea how to play football.”

he’s a quirkier Ian thomas.

He is a textbook case of a young player trying too hard.  Bryce wasn't doing him any favors with ball placement the first four games either.  They are missing some chemistry that they previously had.  Last year Legette showed tremendous upside while making some common rookie errors, and I think that upside is still there.  He's got to get his sea legs under him.

XL has upside for days. The question has always been: Does he possess the aptitude and desire to realize his true potential. The mitigating factor in all of this is his true love of the game and how powerful is his competitive spirit. Does he truly love football? Only he knows the real answer to this question and it is those 2 qualities that will determine his success. Before choosing a dude in the first 3 rounds, the answer to those questions better be obvious.

Doubters, myself included are salty over the fact that anyone who has payed attention to football for a few years could see this coming. How many 1 year wonder first round picks have turned in to all-pro players? which is the goal in any team’s first round selection…. And then they go and pick an RB coming off a major knee injury. Of all positions to have picked a dude coming off of a major knee injury and they choose RB? It was just so f-in stupid, and very Tepper/Fitt like. It’s like buying a near totaled Lambo at full sticker price. It had to of been ALL Tepp/fitt. I refuse to believe Dan would have been that dumb.

I was not a fan of Cole Spencer, but team brass seemed to believe in him. Hell, they promoted him.

And then this year, they parted ways with him 🤔

Brandt Tilis? Unknown.

Regardless, I've been hoping for us to bring in a true leader in that department. Hope it happens soon.

Im shocked how unproductive he has been. That one great td play seems to have hidden the fact he has like 50 yds this season. That is not acceptable.

Okay yes it’s low but he missed two games and the two games he was back for RICO had almost all the offense.

The last game before he was out, the passes were not helping him.

It’s not trying to take up for him as much as it putting it into some context.
I mean if he hadn’t missed those two games and had 100 yards instead of 50 it would still be disappointing.

His per game averages are abysmal when compared to last year. The only thing that has improved is his drop %, which is down from 8.3% to 5.0%.

He is literally DFL in NFL Next Gen Avg. YAC Above Expectation.

He has been TERRIBLE this season and he is aware.

I cant really fault them for picking Legette. He looked like a man amongst boys very often in 2023. He is not just an athlete he is a hell of a receiver.

I think he, a lot like Bryce, struggles with his confidence. He hasn’t found his role in the offense and has made some really bone headed mistakes along with the drops.

The mistakes noticeably get him down. It even affects his play speed and effort it seems like. As he makes plays and gains confidence in himself I really think he will transform into a different player

I was looking at CFF ....XL grades out as one of the best in big time routes during the month of October.  He also doesn't have a lot around him.  It's not like Peyton Manning is throwing the ball, with Kyle Shanahan is calling the plays or something.  He has a bunch of losers around him.  Some would say it's the worst spot any WR could of gone to.

I would appreciate it if you unhappy miserable people would quit insulting Xavier and be real Panther fans.  Spurs Up!
