Trade for a QB?

If it’s a high ankle he won’t be back until Thanksgiving. You could go get somebody like Winston or Mac Jones. I think Andy is good for 1-2 games but after that idk.

4/7 for 60 yards with the Jets blitzing in your face every play isn’t terrible. Plus Sanders dropped like a 15 yarder.

I would be trying to get a average edge so we don’t have Thomas Incoom starting in a few weeks.

I'm surprise some of the PJ Walker lovers did not mention him in this thread.......

PJ is just as good as Bryce.  He just has different good and bad.

It’s apparent all of the Bryce fans are horrified some JAG is going to come in here and throw 3TDs and 300 yards and destroy their narrative

We're not solving our future QB solution with a mid season trade.

So what good does it do to give up draft picks for a guy who might get us 3 wins the rest of the year instead of the 1 that Dalton would bring us?

It doesn’t see other post where I say you could ride with Dalton if it’s just 1-2 games. If it’s longer than that, I would bring in somebody. Mainly for the development of the young receivers on the roster.

Then sign someone, very different than trading for someone.

We can't be giving up draft picks, no matter what round, for players who aren't going to help us beyond this season.

Jameis is my only exception because I think he has a good enough arm to help the development of our pass catchers.  I don't think there is another QB who could be acquired in a trade that would do that as well as him, so I'm not okay with giving up draft picks for any of them.

Jamies for a 6th. Nothing more. We ride with what we have and draft our guys this year.

This is about the only scenario I would be in favor of. We need to address the QB room in the draft and FA in the offseason without giving up future assets

Exactly. If sanders could catch the panthers get at least 3 on that drive and this game is over

The FO for the last three years now have gone out of their way to have a QB room of basically nothing. I would be surprised if a move were actually made.

Now is the time to see what they think about him. They could use this as an out if they wanted to.
