Cam Newton gets into it with Alabama A&M mascot

There are a few things in life that you shouldn't do in an interaction with another man. Snatching the hat off the head of another man is one of them. That's provocation in any circumstance.

That being said. Cam is the elder in this situation and could have handled it differently.

But I do think some of these young guys in the TikTok age probably could use a dose of ackrite from time to time. Just my .02 cents.

Cam is my guy; favorite player of all time, but he’s got some loose screws. Thankfully, he came back to reality before it was too late. 
 

Definitely don’t think the boy in the mascot suit was being malicious. Probably just a goofy

It’s a person that works as a mascot. Who knows what they are thinking?
‘mascoting’ seems to be about doing goofy poo and if you are out there running around with them maybe you are expected to play along.

Terrible optics but it also looks fun. I do wonder what the hell happened. Anyways, Cam's his own man and it doesn't effect me.

Totally agree.  In real life.

But, I would think context here has to matter.  They decided to do a silly bit for TV with mascots.  Which means it’s not real life.   So mascot, tv, silly, light hearted entertainment rules are in play.  And a mascot doing something like putting someone’s hat on their head isn’t outlandish. 

in the end, Cam handled that horrifically.  And I’m as pro Cam as anyone.

Yeah, those mascots frequently overstep but you gotta be self aware enough to know that dumb kid has nothing to lose. Cam Newton does.

after looking at it, its no big deal. the mascot knocked his hat off and he smacked the helmet. if he was really trying to hurt him he could have. i think he almost stepped on his hat.

It was a slow long exaggerated one to the mascots giant head lol. He looked kind of pissed but definitely threw a fake punch then it looked like the mascot stepped on his hat (on accident) and that annoyed him further.
