He had personal visits with at least 3 teams before the draft. He couldn't hide his size up close and personal. This is beyond conspiracy level thinking. They were at his pro day. He couldn't hide his weak arm and under thrown passes. It was all there in front of you. If you were duped you weren't paying attention.

I swear, I don’t watch hardly any college ball and hadn’t watched him. When I went to the videos I swear it took me 10 minutes. If that, to see the future with him.

From usatoday:

Officially, based on the pregame spread, it is the largest upset loss in the NFL in roughly two years. For the Packers themselves, it is tied for the worst Green Bay defeat since the NFL actually became a thing in the public consciousness. The Packers, as an organization, simply do not usually lose games like this. It's not who they are.

Maybe you. The Panthers thought knew what they were getting because they bought the hype too.

He didnt fool me. I never bought into any of it. The fact that he put on 20 lbs to try and intentionally deceive something so trivial would have immediately removed him from my draft board. I always thought Bryce was a late day 2or day 3 pick at best.

You seriously think a 5'9" 185 lb kid can fool everyone into think he was 6'1" 215lbs and had Tom Brady's football experience just standing on the sidelines at the combine? Tell me you do not believe that? Everyone in each organization met with him in person. He cannot hide anything.

Agreed. Completely bizarroworld logic that I cant follow at all being pushed

He did. But the team knew it, or should have. I mean how stupid are you?
Players do this poo all the time at the combine.  Or it has been done, and what he did was obvious to all of us.  So it isn’t all on him.
At the same time I don’t like people that try to trick me. I would have looked at it as a big negative.

I can't think of another QB that's had to add 20 lbs to try and disguise their playing weight just for the combine.

However the original point was that Bryce had nothing to do with where he was drafted. As you yourself pointed out, players do things like this all the time to affect where they are drafted. I was really just pointing out that it's not like he had zero input in the process.

Yeah this is a crazy season. Granted it could end up any way and we are only about halfway through but somehow we keep winning. I mean we have had injuries galore. Our offensive line has probably been injured every game and some are done with the season and yet we hold back Parsons, only give up 1 sack and run for over 100 yards. Our QB play is horrible yet Bryce seems to always be able to give us a GW drive. Our defense sucks and can’t get a sack yet was able to play well enough to not allow over 300 yards passing or many points. It’s like the teams we are playing are just giving up when they play us.

I honestly think we're a good team that is just young and inexperienced.

When we take care of the football, we are gritty and talented enough to hang with any team. It's just a matter of not turning the ball over (especially when in 20+/- territory).

The Patriots and Bills games are fluky. If we don't give up 2 Punt returns for TD in the same game or Andy doesn't throw a pick 6 and turn the ball over 3 more times, we are competitive in those games.

Rarely are we getting pummeled because our team as a whole is worse. It's moreso just us making costly mistakes in big moments, which snowball.

That comes with youth and inexperience. Something special is brewing in Carolina.

I'm just happy we're at a point where the games are entertaining again. I love the Rico Dowdle storyline this year.

This. Today's the first time I've screamed  "Yeahhhhh" after a win in many years. My 5 year old son had never actually seen me do that before. Which is sad when I think about it.

That’s a little harsh.  Im sorry I’m not as excited as you are that the Panthers have a winning record. Have you seen the Panthers play this year? We have beaten one team with a winning record.

It’s kinda hard to be invested in the team going anywhere with the worst starting QB in the league. Isn’t the goal to to win the superb owl? We could never do that as long as Young is our QB. So again, what’s there to really get my hopes up?

Now if we could replace Young right now with an actual decent QB that could throw longer than 10 yards without having to scramble or jump to see over the line of scrimmage, then we would have a great chance. Right now we have a top tier defense and all the pieces are there for the offense to score 30+ most games. But something is holding them back.

If we were to make the playoffs, I’m not rooting against them, I’m just pessimistic about our chances of success.

Then if they aren't fooled, why do it? Because some of them undoubtedly could be. And ultimately, the person(s) making the decision was. He fooled Dave Tepper.

Let's face it, past and present results prove it is not hard to fool Dave Tepper.
