This is just completely damning. And it matches the eye test.

He had a few game stretch last year where he was pushing the ball down field effectively. There was little to no pressure, though. And defenses got the tape and figured it out. Bryce is now being baited into ridiculously easy to see interceptions. He struggles past his first read. His strength is backyard football but his balls often take so long to arrive defenders have time to recover.

He just isn't it. Maybe someday he finds some mojo as a backup and emerges again but I'm skeptical.

They signed him to a $7m contract extension through 2026 and he just won a game for them.

They're absolutely going to ask for a high Draft pick.

Not saying he is the guy but if I thought I could upgrade Bryce for a 2nd I would do it.

bryce continues to prove he is too incosistent to be a viable QB option

i doubt they take a guy round 1 this year but you can not go into next season with bryce and dalton as your two options. 

I have a feeling they trade for Geno this offseason.

Bryce has been pretty consistent this season

Sure. A Rod and Daniel Jones are both working on around 14 million. You get basically two years of that for Bryce’s 5th year option price.

With Bryce I’d do whatever. If I could designate him a post June 1 cut, might do that. Have to look up the cap rules on traded contract money I am not up on it. We wouldn’t get much for him if anything. 
 

I haven’t looked at this guy that close but I like the idea of a guy who hasn’t had a starting job but is acclimated to the league and has upside. 
Almost anything is an upgrade.

As soon as we bring in another QB it will become untenable with Bryce will have to deal him. We've seen it numerous times with these highly drafted QBs

i think he may go on to have a decent career with another team but will never be elite.  If we can get anything for him, we should deal him.  I'm sure someone thinks they can fix him.
