The Panthers win streak is masking substandard quarterback play

He’s been every bit as much of the problem as anyone else. You cant remove him from that fact, he is just as much part of the team and in THE most important position on the field. But this is the first season he’s seen any kind of continuity in his team and coaches. And he’s shown flashes here and there. But we do need more out of him going forward a lot more if we are going to be successful

Appreciate the optimism but there’s a better chance this team turns back into a pumpkin any given week. We’re only one week removed from being dog dicked by the Bills at home, getting beat by literally the same running play over and over. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if the Saints beat the Panthers this week

How much Rico is helping the team and taking pressure off Bryce. 

In the same 3 weeks Dowdle started at RB for the panthers Eric Dickerson rushed for a total of 354 yards in 1984, while Rico Dowdle rushed for 402 yards in 2025.

Someone in  previous thread said the media dam is breaking on Young. And I think they're right.

At some point we will need to have him do more.

As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.  

He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win. 

Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game. 

I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce. 

He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins. 

He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning. 

 

Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.

Canalas and Dan are slowly changing this which I love.

We need to get Bryce some deep weapons at WR and it gets nuts
