we have another bryce thread so I don't want to derail this one but kinda scary Bryce is that low on the list and I don't disagree with you; one could quibble he's above PJ Walker but still point stands

To put us back on track, only other ranking I would flip is Matt Moore over Sammy D, and that's probably the rose colored glasses I have

Matt Moore is a really weird and tough one.   Moore starting as the backup and then when he actually went out there as the week 1 starter.  Real mixed bag. 

and sure, I don't care if someone wanted to flip flop PJ and Bryce.   Whether they flip or flop, the range is the range IMO.

agree Matt Moore was a ?fun time for this franchise, mainly because of that one poster who was definitely his brother on here

I'd put Chris Weinke way higher tbh. He hung around forever as a backup and was by all accounts a good team mate. 

Kerry Collins was actually complete trash. Obviously it was a different era and he had some demons but if you go back and look at any of those 1996 games its difficult to watch. A lot of them are on youtube. 

Yeah he went to the pro bowl in 1996 but that's just because he was already there on vacation and so many other QBs pulled out. He actually threw a game losing interception in that game. 

This is to say nothing about his multiple, ahem, gamer moments, or straight up quitting the team to go to new orleans. 

I'm glad the guy got his life together and actually put together a pretty good little career but he was straight ass in Carolina.

It's like our top WR, OT, CB, S, and TE conversations. The top one is really good. #2 is pretty good. But get below #3 and it starts getting pretty ugly pretty fast.

Ranking is purely in a Panther uniform.  Everything else wiped from existence
