Mike White or Hendon Hooker coming back?

Bryce has to finish out this season.  Every game.   It's the only way  I believe Dan Morgan will move on from his dude.  Leave no doubt or room for him to keep hanging on to his and Fitterer's guy.

Give me Mike White as our Matt Moore/Kyle Allen, 100% sure the locker room would love him and he would actually try because he needs a fuging job lol. Bryce already got paid, doesn't seem to give a poo, Dalton is just getting one last paycheck before retiring, doesn't seem to give a poo...

I think they are committed to giving him the rest of the games to prove he is worth then 5th year option. Fair plan.

He can prove it in the negative with a couple more games like Sunday, and they may be free to try something or someone else.

If 2 1/2 years of futility isnt enough proof, then i don't know what to say. Having no vertical game due to an inferior QB, just kills tis team.

He was bad Sunday but I think you may be recency biasing here, he was horrid week 1 2024 and only a smidgeon less horrible the next week. But still really bad.  Hopeless looking. That one was maybe close to Sunday but our defense kept us in the game longer.

He sucks against the Saints apparently, and plays good against Atlanta lol. Watch him go out there and win the game Sunday.

But if we see a repeat of Sunday again this week, geez who knows what will be done. If anything.

No I remember how bad he was those first games last season, but I think the difference there just from memory was the turnovers.  He’s not turning the ball over as much this season per games, but the lack of production is on par, although I feel it is actually worse considering it has been going on for more games at this point.   It’s more than enough of a sample size for Dave to bench him compared to when he made the choice last season.

"No doubt" left the building a long time ago. Worst QB in the league.

I think it's insulting to the rest of the team to ask them to give 100% when they are putting out this crap at the QB position. I would be pissed if I were on the team. They should strike until they start a new qb lol.

If I was Canales and /or Morgan that would be my plan. Let Bryce play out and pull as many wins out of your ass as you can to keep your job. Then you can frame “ a QB away” argument and make it obvious he’s holding you back.

Rumbling around the interwebs that they may bring one of them back. Fuggin circus tent stuff, but it is what it is. Who would you want here or neither of them.

Young is done and so is Dalton. Something had to give. I really don't want to see the boy wonder under center again.

Head coach Dave Canales wrapped up his team's disappointing showing in Week 10 by talking with reporters on Monday. He was asked if they'll continue with just two quarterbacks, Bryce Young and Andy Dalton, on the roster or if they'll bring back at least one of the two recently-departed passers in Mike White or Hendon Hooker.

"We'll bring one of those guys back this week," Canales replied.

If Dan Morgan isn't already facing the music by now he can head on out the door with Bryce Young too.
