They can’t keep padding his grades when he is that bad. They have to go with it or lose credibility.

I think everyone wanted it to work for him. He's cerebral. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and a good kid. 

He's just not cut out for NFL football, and no amount of good will or rose tinted glasses can hide that anymore. 

The end of the "next Gen stats" era of evaluating QBs. We just happened to be holding the bag when that revelation came to light. Sorry, but sometimes you just need to use your fuggin' eyes. And if you're mortgaging your future, it should be on a guy who looks like a football player.

If we failed after picking Anthony Richardson at least I’d say dude looked the part. Bryce Young was so obviously not up to the task it’s sad.

I mean there was another QB that absolutely looked the part and demonstrated his abilities in his first season. We'll see how he works out long term, but we had a solid option that passed the eye test.
