Wilson was good with an elite roster around him but none of those guys were anywhere close to Brees.

Both Brees and Wilson in their prime had significantly more strength than Bryce Young has. They also hit the weight room. In three years Bryce has made no attempt.

They both were naturally aggressive in the pass game QBs.

Wilson was illogically aggressive, but it worked for him somehow. Lucky sob.
Brees is head and shoulders above that guy. He could dissect you.

True.  Bree’s is a legit all timer.  But a I think old Brees makes some forget about just how willing he to was back a defense off his game going deep.

He made his receivers better.
Wilson’s receivers made him better.

I (a Panther fan) couldn’t stand Brees. Which might tell you how good he was.

Wilson is such a weird one.   He had a historical D.  Great run game.  Really really good WR that made great catches deep.

No clue how good prime Wilson really was.

I guess I am biased because we were playing against him and I understand he paid huge dividends for Seattle with a 3rd round investment. But I watched him and always thought he just lucky as hell when it came down to it.
