At the end of the day I dont want a QB that

• wins one week with 0 TDs/1 INT & 102yds  
• looses one week with a  0 TDs/1 INT & 124yds
• wins one week with a 4 TDs & 325yds

in a 3 week span.  Thats not consistency you can build a team around - the fact that they are 2-1 in that stretch be damned

Even if he put up those stats it wouldn’t confuse me whatsoever. He sucks and a once in a blue moon decent game doesn’t change that

I'm going to bet my house that Young doesn't throw for 325 yards and 4TDs this weekend.

Yeah. I still try to do the 24 hour rule. I usually make it at least 10 or so. Sometimes even overnight.  
 

Not losing a game in which you scored 13 and 16 is a positive, we could easily have been 0-4.  
Gave up 76 in those same 4. 
So we scored 11.25 and gave up 19 ppg. 

With an offense a team that holds the opposition under 20 should win most games.

Penix sucks too but they will still win easily.  Coons 34 Panthers 13.  At some point the D will grow tired of having to keep teams under 10.
