Will 5-6 wins be enough for Canales to keep his job?

Let him get his OWN handpicked QB and then let's judge him.

I don't understand this sentiment. Canales knew Bryce was going to be the QB when he interviewed for the job, in essence he believed that he could make it work with Bryce. If you don't think you can win with Bryce then don't take the job, Ben Johnson didn't jump at any job offering and waited for the right opportunity, look at him in Chicago now.

This poo isn't on Dave Canales. Im convinced with a capable NFL QB has has us as a playoff team.

We will have to see, because I’ve seen a woefully unprepared team take the field far too often during the Canales era.

Difference is we were his only offer. Ben Johnson had his pick

Is it just me or is the commentary awful? Both sound quality and Brady Quinn sucking?

Brady Quinn just reminds me of the dude from American Pie so much I can’t take him seriously. Mixed with that dude from the Christmas movie with Ryan Reynolds that same actor played

Seizing an opportunity to be an NFL head coach regardless of circumstance is an easy EASY decision.  You take the job even if no one else wants it.  You may never get another shot.  He can always go back to being an OC somewhere.
