Hats off to Canales

So this has to make us question if Canales was calling players that limited Bryce’s passing.

Ive theorized that a lot of the play calling, not Bryce himself is the reason why we are not getting a lot of yards in the pass game. Lots of short/quick passes, focusing on the run game.

I feel like we changed the playbook/gameplan around this week and Bryce excelled.

you can’t say it’s cause Atlanta’s defense is bad because they weren’t giving up a lot of yards to Josh Allen and other Qbs.

That was the core of my questions about last week.

This week? I saw the kind of response I was looking for.

atlanta is pretty bad 3 wins all season.  but coach called an amazing game and coached bryce up big time. and nah bryce is the reason he does bad 95% of the games.

Bryce Young has to do this consistently down the stretch for me to have any confidence in him being the guy.

It doesn't have to be 400 yard games. Just big throws downfield when we need them. That throw to XL was awesome. I want to see that more.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
