There’s always some fans that don’t like the pick. I mean some wanted a defensive player, but I think picking MacMillan was a shrewd draft choice. His upside was clear and our need for a true number one receiver was clear.

It was a wise pick.  T-Mac may be in the OROY running.  Had we taken a defensive player we don't end up with Scourton, who IMO is going to be a STUD in the years to come.  I remember the conversation they had early in the draft.  We aren't going to get a Top WR and the draft had plenty of good defensive players in the 2nd round.

T-Mac will be an All-Pro very soon.

As good as C Mac is, a dominating WR is worth far more than an RB.

Burns was more of a liability than an asset in his time here. He could have been so much more. I’m sure there were, but I can’t remember a single game that Burns closed a game out. I saw plenty where he was used and abused by blocking TEs while teams ran right at him.

I like DJ but he was never a true game breaker. He’s really good and put up good stats, but never dominated. Tet is on the precipice of taking games over.

I disagree. T-mac has a long way to go before he surpasses C-mac's value. I'm not saying that he can't do it, but a highly skilled RB that can gain yards in chunks, and can run routes just as well if not better than some receivers is highly valuable indeed. Over time, a receiver might have a couple of more seasons of impactful play due to the nature of their positions, so in that sense a receiver may be more valuable because you eventually get more out of them, but there's an argument that in their prime, the skilled three-down RB that is highly skilled is likely more impactful. I'll give you the point that regular WR1s are more valuable than regular RB1s, particularly with a team legitimately using RBBC, but Gore, Tomlinson, McCaffrey, and many other great backs are simply harder to replace than WR1s. The role that they play is special and specialized.

I know XL had a good game today but what really burns my piss is we could have TMac and Ladd

It hardly ever works that way. Had we had Ladd, we may not have even been in a position to draft T-Mac. It is something to ponder though.
