They woke the fug up and held them to six points in the 2nd half. Some adjustments made and able to shut them down for the most part. Kudos to doing the job asked of them. Impressive comeback and win

Keep pounding

Lost in all the hype for the offense is the praise the defense deserves for keeping Bijan and London in check in that second half.

Cherilus was absolutely destroying people in that fourth quarter and Scourton is gonna be a good one. He has consistent effort. Just needs to continue to develop.

Glad the D held them to 6 points in the 2nd half, but let's also recognize that the Falcons dropped like 5 passes in the 2nd half/OT. I started rooting for ATL to screw up more than us to make a play on defense because I don't think our D really did that much in the 2nd half

True, but I also remember the days when a backup would come in and put up all pro numbers against us. Hopefully those days are behind us now.

The pressure is awful. You really feel that lack of pressure against a good QB. I hope Purdy doesn’t tear us up but SF has good coaching so I’m ready to be exploited.

The “lack of” was more noticeable in this game than the last few weeks.  Not sure why, but ATL blocked everything up really well, and just from memory, it didn’t seem like we sent much extra pressure outside of 4.  We will definitely need more of it against SF.  They’ll be getting the ball out quick and Purdy is annoyingly elusive and mobile.

Also, again, I really want to see Princely get more reps.

Bijan had like four second half carries because they split his reps with Algier.

And yeah losing a starter will negatively impact a wr, especially when he’s hurt.

Yea but I don’t think Penix is any better than Cousins at this point. Only reason he’s starting is to develop the young QB with hopes he’ll be the future.
