So, after Sunday's game does that mean we're stuck with Bryce for the foreseeable future?

He has had 2 games of over 300 yards this season.

Do any of you know if any other IT'S have even done the same?

We're winning.  Were winning because of Byrce.

Many of you still need to accept that fact.

Ah yes the GB game that we won and Bryce was going into the 4 quarter under 100 yards total. Yeah; Bryce totally won us that game.

We won Sunday and he was a very large contributor. Threw the ball where the receivers could do something with it most of the time.

But at the same time a lot of these games could have gotten what he contributed from a generic journeyman. We have some games left for him to stay stepped up in class, we will see if he can.

I disagree on winning because of Bryce. This last game, you bet, he earned it, but before that, Rico should get credit for more wins than Bryce.

I mean, that's wild stuff.  Winning because of Bryce?

Atlanta - We won because of defense.

Miami - We won because of Rico

Dallas - We won because of Rico

Jets - We won because of defense.

Packers - We won because of defense.

2nd Atlanta game? Sure, Bryce was a big part of that one game.

*then the flip side, there are zero losses where you can be like, well Bryce played great and good enough to win but (insert whoever) screwed it up.

Sad part is, even if he plays at a higher level for the rest of the season, we still don't know what he'll look like at the beginning of the next one.

Hence the reason we have to upgrade the room regardless.   His poo play to start the season has been going on for 3 seasons now.  Thats a trend and the team has to prepare for it

not just poo play to start the season.  Bryce has been poo almost this entire season.  I mean, if Bryce doesn't comeback out of the lockerroom on Sunday.....I think the Panthers were going to bench him.  I just don't see how they could of trotted him back out there.  Because it would been another disaster on top of a bunch of recent bad play.

It took Bryce 2 1/2 , almost 3 years to do what Cam did his first  fugging game.  Yet , he's the second coming of Tom Brady now.  Will he be decent,  probably,  will he be dominant stud, doubtful.

Can you win a SB, with him??? If the answer is no, then you have to keep looking,  that is ghe ultimate goal is it not?????

Better question.

Can you consistently make the playoffs while paying him 45m a year for the next 5 years?

That depends. Last year, he was fools gold mostly. He had looked so horrible that even below average play was a big step up and made him look better than he was.

He never had a game like Sunday. That was so far above his average… if he can keep that up or close, I think maybe it would be safer to trust that he has had the switch come on.
He has a horrible trend of following his best performance with complete poo so if he can stay out of that pattern and give us something good on top of Sunday and to finish the year I would feel a lot better. I am talking high bar, not just not totally sucking.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
