Been saying it all along. People who believe Morgan was opposed to drafting Bryce Young are living a lie.

I doubt he was opposed about picking Bryce, but damn at some point you have to admit the mistake and move the fug on.

He is holding the development of the rest of the team back.

No fuging reason he should have been the unquestioned starter this season other than fuging Tepper.

Time to take his project out back and get rid of it and never offer suggestions on any future QBs

Completely agree and have been saying the same since his rookie year, but ESPECIALLY after last season.

But as I shared earlier in the thread, on the radio broadcast when they said Morgan was gloating to them, “He’s feeling great.  Just watch!”  Not one single moment have I ever felt enough confidence in Bryce to tell others “just watch!”  He hasn’t shown any consistency whatsoever, so this completely irrational, delusional, and unfounded belief and confidence coming from football professionals in Bryce I just can’t fuging understand in the least.  Morgan has seen the same poo we have and you’re telling others “just watch” what he does like it’s gonna be some guaranteed Cam-esque performance is borderline psychotic.

Dan Morgan has spent most of his time even when he was assistant GM with his nose up David Tepper's ass. He is a sycophant. Hard truth.

They have to know he's the weak link,no way they can't see it

They are 1 game behind .500 so I completely think they still feel confident at this point. Just look what 1 game vs Atlanta did lol. That's also why cleaning house would be a mercy at this point. I would put $5 down that they have been talking playoffs after the last game with phrases like 'turned a corner' and 'finally see daylight'. Throw in DC too with how he called that game

Absolutely. With his football acumen I can't believe he would be all on Bryce. Hes not gonna tell Dipper no. He learned that sht from Fitt... and why many here wanted him gone with Fitt. If he was on an opposing team playing the Panthers he'd be licking his chops and the truth would come out. Get rid of him and Dipper will just hire another yes man and they'll draw up some plays together... Dipper is not going to hire anyone that has an opinion away from his...we coulda had Payton but he was to alpha for Dip.... he picked his qb as he knows how to evaluate talent...we could be 9-2 with him.  Regardless of what u think of Payton... he was the hire.

That offense was hard to watch. So inconsistent…

I turned it off. And I lived through the Clausen year, the Weinke year, the Cam Newton injury years…

There just isn’t any hope man. The outcome is already written and you can see it all over the offenses body language.

Compare that to Shedeur Sanders who has everyone talking like he’s the second coming of Tom Brady himself. Not that he is Brady or remotely close but his attitude just gives them that confidence that he will figure out his mistakes and continue to work on his successes. I’ve never got the vibe of that from this Panthers team since Bryce has been in Charlotte.

This is what I've said. Bryce talks, walks, and sounds like he is still in high school. Your QB needs to be able to take command of a locker room and a team. The QB has to be very alpha! Just look at Drake Maye in his first year. Look at how he sounds and carries himself. Bryce just does not have that intangible. And it's not just about his size. It's about his confidence and his belief in his ability. He doesn't have that dog in him to be the best at his position. You can hear it and see it. Can he get there? He's still just a kid... but he needs grow a pair quickly!

I think it was the giants game, Cam’s sophomore season, where after the loss Greg went up to him and said something along the lines of “we’ll win next time.” Cam was pissed because he wanted to win that game and wasn’t having it.
Bryce is the guy who says “yeah, well do better and gotta get better next time” but never really gets better. Many times last night I’d watch his body language and it revealed that he had already checked out, that he didn’t care to make a statement in front of the world. I don’t play football nor have I ever, but at some point you just have to grow a pair and intimidate the enemy.
